Sammy's such a great performer, and beyond loyal to his fans. He's 75 yrs old!!!!! Can ya believe that! Wish we can all be like him and have such fun.. I saw these guys earlier this year, and they were great. A really great show in Sammy's hometown .. he let people backstage, his family was there, he talked to everyone and signed every single thing anyone put on stage. Such a awesome talent .and truly gifted. He still can scream and sing oh so well....a honest 8-10 compared to his days w VH ..I've seen him w VH, and he was a power house..he really headlined the band....they were so damn good together. We were lucky to have had them together❤
5150 was the greatest triumph of a band switching singers in rock history. Sammy Hagar and Edward Van Halen helped each other spread their wings. Loved the Van Hagar era.
@@JamieBarrettMusic I appreciate your opinion. Brian replaced a deceased member, so I don't count him. Sammy replaced a guy many thought was a living legend. Ronnie was a fantastic replacement, but Black Sabbath never reached the heights of success that Van Halen did with their second singer.
A shout out for unsung hero Vic Johnson. He's a solid as a rock and good overall guy. He's been rocking with Sam for over 25 years now.
