The Eurovision Song Contest of 1969 was held in Madrid, Spain. 16 countries participated in this year's contest and in this video I share my thoughts on every single one, ranking them from the one I enjoyed the least to the one I enjoyed the most.

This was a very strong Eurovision year with my favorite from this contest also being Switzerland which is in my top 3 of all time
Let me ignore the UK and Spain placement. 😅 what a year! Truly amazing. And hey I guessed your #1 right! 🥳
I've noticed how different my points score would be now compared to when we did the watchalong. Italy would now get my 12 points whereas I gave it Spain before. My taste must be maturing.
One of my favorite years! Banger after banger. And before I watch it, I just suspect your #1 is Switzerland (should be UK though 😎). The Netherlands, Italy, and Sweden are probably top 5.

Maybe a hot take, but I'd actually rank Sweden 1969 among Sweden's all-time top 10, Sweden can only dream of such melodies these days (sorry...)
I think we agree with the best winner of the 1969 class, haha! Though my favorite is Desfolhada--it's so powerful and Simone delivers it so well.
I forgot how stellar 1969 is of a year. Sweden is my winner, making Tommy Körberg the only artist to be my winner twice 😊

I'm with you in enjoying this era of Sweden as i do too. 68 was my fav song that year and Judy Ma Vin is excellent too.

I agree a lot in here, except for that last place, but I just switch UK and Norway, so it doesn't make a lot of difference. My first place must be Sweden. Tommy was so charming!
