Tutu: The Untold Story of a Kingdom | Proof of Concept African Animation

- Tutu - The Untold Story of a Kingdom tells the story of Osei Tutu and the rise of the 17th century Ashanti Kingdom located in what is now modern-day Ghana, West Africa. Our main characters Osei Tutu and Okomfo Anokye embark on a journey to unite divided Akan clans. Their epic adventure is filled with ingenuity, love, challenges, courage and a whole lot of magic! Tutu not only promotes cultural pride but stands to preserve our African history as we have collaborated with historians, writers, and creatives across the continent to ensure its accuracy.
One of the major barriers is funding. We created this proof of concept animation to show the public we have the technical skillset, vision, and talent needed to create a Tutu animated series! So we need your support to bring Tutu to life and pave way for more representation and for our African stories to be told through animation for families across the world to watch and love!

Thanks a lot Yaa! No you're not being judgmental at all. It is our aim to make this into a full blown series with seasons. This will entail a whole lot of cast and crew hence creating lots of jobs for creatives and other departments.
