Nice video. I had thes tires to work great but not really for rocks they dont call them Swampers for nothing. What i did is siped all the big logs and that made a huge difference on the rocks...worked like sn owtires and even in sand ,mud and any wet surface.. So for me siping id the way to go...
I have them and run w my axial scx2 w an Element-IFS and New Bright Bronco Body. Size is perfect for fitting up inside fenders. Great tires. I don't know if u do or not but I scrub mine w dish soap before 1st run and as much as possible after/before next run. I also vent my tires to let them relax a little bit better and let water out because I can't seem to stay out of the water. I'm like u w foams as long as they are not memory. Thx man!!
These are so much stickier than my tyres! When you consider that the course wasn´t even dry, this is a really good compound and design. On another matter...I´d absolutely love to see a POV "lap" of your course some day. If you could somehow put a camera in the cab, looking out through the screen, I´d enjoy it even more : )

Pro Line has been my go-to RC Tire company for like the past 15 years. They make great stuff a little pricey sometimes though. I agree with breaking in the tires. It seems like you have to get that outer layer of Shine off of it. I don't know if it's mold release compound or what?
Haha lol no you didn't miss the unboxing I went to the largest rc swap meet in Ohio picked it up used for 350$ I'm pretty excited about it I just got home from taking it on the trails and down by the dam in the water a bit very pleased with the performance
Strange that some got little sipes in the middle blocks and some don't.. Is it old versus new version. Geuss Pro line made 2 different superswampers over the years.
ProLine is usually/always good competitive rubber, possibly you didn't give them a bath with WD-40... cuts the mold release, soaks in a few thousandths to soften and open the pores on the skin of the rubber. I'm a little picky about foam on crawler tires, 3/32 to 1/8 smaller than the inside tire diameter lets the faces crush/mash a little while still supporting the sidewalls. new tires I'll wash WD-40 a few minutes wet, then dish detergent with a brush, WD-40 again and wipe dry with a clean rag. might seem ambitious or silly, can be done mounted over a bowl for the detergent wash+rinse with an old tooth brush, another one for spreading+working the WD-40. the WD = Water Displacing, the light penetrating oil and the solvent used for pressurizing the can really cuts and pulls the mold release from the rubber, detergent wash+rinse to finish the cleaning, then the WD again to soften and put good oils back in. we used it as traction compound for on road foam donut tires too, seems odd, but it works!
The wd 40 work a good I have done that before I drive in so much water and rocks it breaks my tires In pretty quickly sometimes i boil my foam bit i always weight my tires thanks for watching and commenting brother 😀✌🏻👍🏻😎
Nice review buddy. And i agree, tyres are much better on dry surface and when broken in. I been thinking of getting new tyres for my Trx recently, just for a change. I have been looking at proline tyres. Maybe these or the G8 Hydrax.

So after 6months do you still like these compared to the stock gen 8 tires? I have one and I can’t decide which proline tire or compound to get lol so many choices
There are allot of choices these seem to be getting better and better as they break in im pretty happy with them but my all time favorite tire so far is the duratrax deep woods trails

definitely, POV video of that would be great watches. micro cam recorder and 1S velcro'd inside the roof would be easy moving unit to unit for videos.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the Super Swamper the stock tire for the Gen 8?
I think so but a different pattern swamper got mine used had old axial tires on it so not 100% sure on the stock tires
Yes and no. The Gen 8 comes with Redcat IROK Super Swampers where as these are Proline Interco Super Swampers.
