I’ve served as PM and LD at a 1k cap venue and had WM a few times. I moved to a 10k cap amphitheater a few years back and we had WM last week. I thought the production last week was great, but when I saw this video, I thought “that’s how I should’ve lit this show” - I love the wash and accents. The color balance is on point. Great work to whoever was L1.
Justin beard is the LD for them. His color choices are so unique and super washy and tasteful. I use some of there colors for Shane smith and the saints.
Favorite band of all time so many bangers, but the lead singer acted like a rock star in concert for every song, don’t think it connected with all the country fans
@@michaelburran7953 well, you're the only one that asked so I will enlighten YOU with my OPINION on how he fucked it up. The tempo is slower than album version. The dual guitars towards the end is, of course, not in the album so that throws it off. I don't want to hear those two play. Some people don't want to hear the album version live. That's fine. I prefer to hear it exactly how I am used to listening to it.
Just saw WM in Toledo. They played Stone just like this at that show. I also prefer the studio version, but Cody and the boys play this song every night, so they probably like to switch things up to keep it fresh. (Go to a Springsteen show, he changes every song.) This version of Stone was at least close to the original. In Toledo, they slowed down and changed Ballad of a Southern Man so much, it sounded like a different song.
Yellowstone brought me here
