Cheers friend, to good memories and the making of them! Memories are the slowing of time. The eternal juices to the fountain. Drink and live long brother.
I recently relapsed, I'm a recovering alcoholic, and this song hurt way too much to hear. I relate to every single word. It's hard to go on when you think you can't be happy sober, but know you'll die drinking. I've felt my emotions had become stone for a while, wondering if I should be alive still. Yet when I hear this, it reminds me I still have my heart and I break out into tears. I'm reassured that my heart is not made of stone. I may break again in the future, or maybe not, but I know I haven't turned to stone. And that's enough to get me by
Breaking and mending continually lets u know youre alive❤while we all break differently, we all do break. We hear "life is hard" a lot but its true. The lows lead us to the highs if we hang in there. I lost my dad to alcohol. Im 50 and think of him every single day. You can best this disease but you must keep getting up. You are worth it. Ask for help when you need it! Good vibes your way friend
So you should, whether you love metal, rock or whatever, listening to and appreciating other forms of music, or expression, gives you a better understanding and appreciation of the whole spectrum.
This song and band means so much to me. I used to listen to them with my daughter who is no longer with us. Thanks Whiskey, you guys make me smile and cry. Also thanks for your service, I was deployed twice myself
I'm sorry for you loss and may you find peace and healing as you cherish the memories and special times you had with your daughter. I just lost my mother a few months ago and country music seems to be the only music I can listen to in my time of grief. Love and light to you during this holiday season 🙏🏼❤️

this quote apllies to very few, but here you go Whiskey Myers: "If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If its marketed right, you'll buy it. But... If its real... you'll feel it." Kid Rock
Came across Yellowstone on Paramount & when my wife and I heard this song we were instantly hooked! Sooo thankful for TV spotlighting amazing bands that need to be discovered by the masses! Bought all their music online the next day & going to see them live soon!
I`m European and I`m far away from this culture but this song is absolutely amazing for me.I heard it for the first time yesterday when my friend recommended me watching "Yellowstone".This song fits to this film perfectly
My niece is going through a hard time and I’d love for y’all to sing this one time for her she just lost her 16yr old son to a motorcycle accident and I just want her to find peace somewhere somehow she’s a phenomenal mother and granddaughter daughter and she’s really held it together for the three girls and they too are suffering but she finds some inner peace with this singer!! Thank you guys!!#RYDERSTRONG FOR LIFE!!!
They did a shout out and replied lacy !!! I love it and didn’t realize until I just looked on you tube !! Smile it’s not meant to make you sad sweetheart!!
I’m so deeply sorry to hear about your niece’s loss. The pain of losing a child, especially so young, is unimaginable. It’s heartening to hear how strong she has been, not just for herself but for her three girls as well. The way she’s holding the family together in such a difficult time is truly admirable. Music has a special way of touching our souls and bringing comfort. Singing a song that brings her peace sounds like a beautiful way to offer support and love. It’s these small acts of kindness and understanding that can bring a glimmer of light in the darkest of times. Encourage her to embrace this peace she finds in music. It’s often these small havens that help us heal and find the strength to move forward. Her strength and love as a mother and as a person are truly inspiring.
Refreshing that great music still exists. It’s better that they aren’t mainstream, it keeps their identity pure. Thanks Whiskey Myers for writing fantastic music!
That's funny that's what I said where the f*** did they get country music by these guys like 18 years old and have no idea you don't hear George Strait Randy Travis f****** Garth Brooks any of the country singers that he doesn't have a country voice there's no country music there's no guitar country is not even acoustic it's like Lynyrd Skynyrd light rock or something why the f*** do people keep referring to this as a goddamn country band I do not hear anything resembling f****** country music and I live in goddamn the south in the f****** Hillbillies
Nobody is living through them, in any way shape or form, they are entirely their own. I know you meant well, but that's spiritually treacherous language. Stunning group & song - God bless.
@@Blessed.2.Teach.4God thing is we need them too in the way music has progressed we need those influences to be present so we don't forget who created there own genre and that lane.
I wish I had a little more of Jesus in me too. Country has always had its foundation in Christ. We are not too proud to work, we are not too proud to love and remain faithful to our wives till death do us part, we are proud to belong to God, washed clean by the blood of Jesus Christ. We love God, love our family and love our country., (Edit: I'm not loving this America. I love the Kingdom of God, and America has ceased to be one nation under God)
The night is my companion And the highway is my home Got me seeking for one last beacon Every single place I roam They say Jesus was a poor man I guess I wish I had a little more him in me Make it easier going on living Heart ache and misery Sweet, sweet heart of mine I'm going to break again a million times Or is this too far gone? Have you turned to stone? Well I guess I got my bottle I still hold it all the time But it keeps me smiling and singing Helps me fall asleep a little bit better at night They say life is like a dagger Backstage is full of parasites They love you and drain of everything you own Just to feel better about their life Sweet, sweet heart of mine I'm going to break again a million times Or is this too far gone? Or have you turned to stone? Sweet, sweet heart of mine I'm going to break again a million times Or is this too far gone? Sweet, Sweet love of mine I'm going to break again a million times Or is it too far gone? Have you turned to stone?
I was scrolling through you tube maybe 3 or 4 weeks ago when I came across this band. American Outlaw was the first song I listened to, and it made me pick up my guitar and play along. and i haven't picked up my guitar but maybe twice in the last two and a half years. Now I play along with these guys everyday after work. thanks for the beautiful music that i feel comes from the heart.
whiskey Myers. actual musicians, and singers that play real music with lyrics that come from real life. what a concept. people just don't get it. Whiskey Myers....The greatest band since Skyward.
Never seen Yellowstone. Ive loved these guys for years. Helped me through two huge deaths in my life. Two friends who meant the world to me. Bawled my tears away with Whiskey Meyers.
This is the song for my mare. I ball like a baby thinking of her and listening to this song. She was a little bit broncy when she was younger, we've gone wyoming and Idaho ways together. She was there for my first marriage and its fail, the birth of my oldest, my oldest leaving home and my mother dying. We had been homeless together, and many a mile together ❤️. That mare has a spot in my heart forever ❤
I don’t care if you consider this “country” or not. It’s REAL music.. you can FEEL it.. and that’s what country music used to be all about. It’s starting to come back around.

I love reading the comments from you all..... Connects me to the common human experience and makes me feel less disconnected. Agreed this is a terribly powerful song.... I listen to it with my 11 year old daughter who is already feeling the weight of the world in many dimensions beyond her age. We both sing out loud together to this......
The show Yellowstone might have the best soundtrack in the history of television. It introduced me to Ryan Bingham, Whisky Meyers, and Uncle Lucious. Props 👍👍👍
This is music for the soul. And if you live a rough life you can align yourself with this anyway you know that there's other people who feel like you do and it feels good to know that you're not alone
I am glad they don't get that extended radio play...in my opinion, bands that aren't mainstream..play smaller venues to packed out fans who go out of our way to listen and find their shows..gives them more incentive and feels they have more passion in their music..you can feel their energy, pain, strength..etc Other bands that are good..were GREAT before going mainstream..now having 50 ppl saying dress like this..act like this..sing this..taking their true lyrics and manipulating them to fit the label and persona that label wants them to..robs the genuine art of it all..and with that...the heart and that FEELING you can sense to your core..it's lost. For me, I'm so grateful to have found them...haven't had a band give me chills in a long time...so excited to see them play
I've listened to whiskey Meyers for a few years now and when I heard this on Yellowstone I literally teared up. This band has so much heart in their songs its unreal. I could listen to this forever and never be over it!
these guys are the bomb diggity. Their music can be played on any radio station. The singer's voice is like sounds like hot butter and chocolate being poured out of heaven.
these guys and blackberry smoke are 2 bands way under rated. some of the best southern rock I have heard in a long time. both great live bands, a must see.
Best thing about Whiskey Myers is that every album you’re going to get something fantastic and yet the entire album will basically be a different genre, their only consistency is that they are just consistently good. They remind my of growing up listening to Ronnie and the boys before the plane crash stole them away from us.. was traumatizing to a kid..

Yeah listening but only because I was comparing it to the acoustic version. He hits on that one so much harder with the vocals, I'm not sure I would have liked him so much if I just heard this one...
Saw these guys this past Sunday along with Jamey Johnson.... to say I was impressed would be an understatement! Whiskey Myers blew the roof off of the building!!!!!!! It has been 3 days and I am still hyped up from their performance!! If you ever get a chance to see these guys, DO IT!! You will not be disappointed!
I don't know how that pop music passes the country censors these days. Half of today's "country" songs can be heard on pop stations and you can't tell it's supposed to be a country song. "bro country" is the perfect term.
Hate "country" radio. I listen to Pandora mostly, Frank Foster(country) station and Whiskey Myers is on it a lot. Love it and have spent most my night listening to them.

Texas boy here . I grew up on pure country gold music I’m 34 now and I can remember my dad jamming old country. It’s been a while now since I’ve heard country that was worth a damn. But that god for whiskey, Chris Stapleton, uncle Lucius, and a few others,
The first thing my 3 year old son does when this plays in my truck is says "Turn it up, daddy!" so I turn it up. "Louder daddy!" Then when it ends I hear "Play it again, daddy!"
It's a great feeling when your kids can share your appreciation, and love for great music. Real music. Unlike the majority of crap that's out, and popular in most circles.
Every time I hear this song, I think of Rip and Beth on Yellowstone, dancing to this song. It caught me immediately, and I had to order the CD on Amazon. A truly great song, and a fun reminder of one of the best shows on TV today.
Can I just say to you all I missed the concert tonight in Fayetteville at the amp. But thank you all for these songs you make. I’m a trucker and I couldn’t make it in, in time for concert. But Thank You Cody Cannon, John Jeffers, Cody Tate, Jeff Hogg, Tony Kent, and Jamey Gleaves!!!!!!!!!!!’

this quote apllies to very few, but here you go Whiskey Myers: "If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If its marketed right, you'll buy it. But... If its real... you'll feel it."
Kid Rock
Bailee Cano I’m sorry for your loss
I feel like I’ve heard this song most of my life.
Did you know Kid Rock is just one guy?
Candy Bennett right on point
Kid rock actually puts on a badass show
Came across Yellowstone on Paramount & when my wife and I heard this song we were instantly hooked! Sooo thankful for TV spotlighting amazing bands that need to be discovered by the masses! Bought all their music online the next day & going to see them live soon!
The chorus struck me deep. Few songs outside of good ol' gospel bring me to tears, but I felt this.
I`m European and I`m far away from this culture but this song is absolutely amazing for me.I heard it for the first time yesterday when my friend recommended me watching "Yellowstone".This song fits to this film perfectly
Thank you Yellowstone for introducing me to this amazing band! 👌🏻
I think whiskey Meyers deserves an honorary induction to the music hall of fame❣️
Makes you feel like lynryd skynyrd has survived and is still living thru them!!! Thank goodness there is still good music like this being made.
Van Zant is back...livin
Very well said!
We love God, love our family and love our country.,
(Edit: I'm not loving this America. I love the Kingdom of God, and America has ceased to be one nation under God)
Amen!!!!!
AMEN!
Amen! Just read your Bible and you'll have more of Him in you. In the beginning was The Word...John chapter 1
Amen brother
Another great song by one of the most underrated bands in history! Love me some Whiskey Myers.
WOW BEING 58 REMINDS ME OF MARSHALL TUCKER BAND SUCH GOOD MEMORIES "WHISKEY MYERS" THEY GOT MY ATTENTION LOVE YOU GUYS
Fuck yeah

The night is my companion
And the highway is my home
Got me seeking for one last beacon
Every single place I roam
They say Jesus was a poor man
I guess I wish I had a little more him in me
Make it easier going on living
Heart ache and misery
Sweet, sweet heart of mine I'm going to break again a million times
Or is this too far gone?
Have you turned to stone?
Well I guess I got my bottle
I still hold it all the time
But it keeps me smiling and singing
Helps me fall asleep a little bit better at night
They say life is like a dagger
Backstage is full of parasites
They love you and drain of everything you own
Just to feel better about their life
Sweet, sweet heart of mine I'm going to break again a million times
Or is this too far gone?
Or have you turned to stone?
Sweet, sweet heart of mine I'm going to break again a million times
Or is this too far gone?
Sweet, Sweet love of mine I'm going to break again a million times
Or is it too far gone?
Have you turned to stone?
This is home
Most of us be stone one day but not are soul..it's in the music does this song even need words is the real question.
🖤
❤❤❤thanks for the lyrics 😊
Thanks for lyrics!
Whiskey Myers....The greatest band since Skyward.
have ya heard of a band named blackberry smoke ..check them out if not ...:}
Love both, great song writing bands.
Also try The Cadillac Three. Just saw them live last weekend. Awesome band.
D.R. Howard I'm so glad these guys started coming to east Tennessee the last couple of years. Great live band.
Never seen Yellowstone. Ive loved these guys for years. Helped me through two huge deaths in my life. Two friends who meant the world to me. Bawled my tears away with Whiskey Meyers.
So cool...a contestant on American Idol just did this song...got all three yesses and is moving on to Hollywood.
God Bless you both.
I'm late to the table, only just heard this song, absolutely amazing.
Just found my new favourite band 👍🤘
So have I. But still love my Kid Rock.....so I guess whiskey Meyers is my favorite band but kid Rock is my all time favorite artist
“Wish I had a little more Jesus in me” Amen!🕊🎂
Always
Never listened to country until I binge watched Yellowstone 5 seasons last week. Thanks Yellowstone. Enjoying country music now at age 52❤😊
I don’t care if you consider this “country” or not. It’s REAL music.. you can FEEL it.. and that’s what country music used to be all about. It’s starting to come back around.
More country than the crap they play on the radio!!! 💜

OBSESSED !!! His voice is haunting and rocks me deep in my soul!!! New favorite band, been waiting for music this good for far to long!! Passion runs like a river in words and music!!! LUV LUV LUV
It's amazing how many people are just now finding out about y'all from Yellowstone
The show Yellowstone might have the best soundtrack in the history of television. It introduced me to Ryan Bingham, Whisky Meyers, and Uncle Lucious. Props 👍👍👍
better late to the game than not at all
Not sure how I ran across this song but probably the best song I’ve heard in years!! Just great music!
HELLO..... THANKS FOR WATCHING AND COMMENTING ON MY TH-cam CHANNEL.
I heard it on Yellowstone! What a great show!
Anyone have recommendations of beautiful country ballads like this one? Fell in love with it when I first heard it on Yellowstone.
broken window serenade by Whiskey Myers
This is music for the soul. And if you live a rough life you can align yourself with this anyway you know that there's other people who feel like you do and it feels good to know that you're not alone
Hell yeah

I love this song! Just lost my soulmate in Dec 22. I feel every note and every word that burns in my soul!
It's a crime that bands like Whiskey Myers and The Cadillac Three don't get any radio air time!
we play them on our station wffmradio.com
tara stoyle that's great tell the rest of these tools to get off the Jason Aldean, and the whole lot of them a holes. Lol
It's because they don't fit in with the mainstream media and it's a crying shame
Nashville doesn't play anything but Pop Country. Add in Jason Boland & The Stragglers to your list.
I am glad they don't get that extended radio play...in my opinion, bands that aren't mainstream..play smaller venues to packed out fans who go out of our way to listen and find their shows..gives them more incentive and feels they have more passion in their music..you can feel their energy, pain, strength..etc
Other bands that are good..were GREAT before going mainstream..now having 50 ppl saying dress like this..act like this..sing this..taking their true lyrics and manipulating them to fit the label and persona that label wants them to..robs the genuine art of it all..and with that...the heart and that FEELING you can sense to your core..it's lost. For me, I'm so grateful to have found them...haven't had a band give me chills in a long time...so excited to see them play
This song touches my soul , makes goose bumps come up all over me , Whiskey Myers is awesome !!!
HELLO🥰 THANKS FOR WATCHING AND COMMENTING ON MY TH-cam CHANNEL🎶
I know bro I felt the same way. Love these guy just discovered them
This is amazing thanks Yellowstone for helping me discover them
I love many genres of music. But there are not many songs that speak to your soul like this one. 💜💜
I totally agree! And I'm a Hard Rocker! Lol 🤘
Do you like bbc?
I've listened to whiskey Meyers for a few years now and when I heard this on Yellowstone I literally teared up. This band has so much heart in their songs its unreal. I could listen to this forever and never be over it!
Me too, I was so proud of them!!!
these guys are the bomb diggity. Their music can be played on any radio station. The singer's voice is like sounds like hot butter and chocolate being poured out of heaven.
Ima hip hop head, but music like this moves me just as well. Great vocals on this joint!!
Metal Head here and even if we´re from two different Genres we´re listening to that masterpiece - that speaks for itself, peace bro!
I am here couse I am watching Yellowstone for the first time. I ❤ country music. This song is incredible. Nice to listen you, guys. 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
The bar scene
Awesome song and series. Wait till you watch 1883 and 1923!😘
These guys and Chris need to do a couple songs. Pure as it gets.
“90 Feet from Home”brought me here…can’t believe I haven’t heard this before! Absolutely beautiful!❤❤
Me 2 I just watched d film, amazing ❤😂 Take care god bless
these guys and blackberry smoke are 2 bands way under rated. some of the best southern rock I have heard in a long time. both great live bands, a must see.
chief 2017 if you haven't already checkout the Steel Woods ,great up and coming Southern rock band.
yes they are. should have been album of the year
This song might’ve got popular in the last 5 years but when it came out we were living that life he’s talking about
Been waiting for someone to compare this band and their talent to Lynyrd Skynyrd.
I had the same thought.
Premature thought but very good band let's talk in 10 years
They
Dont get my wrong this band is great but no country/southern rock band will ever out do Lynard Skynard!
@StenLan I was just thinking that before I read this comment. Great comparison.
You don’t have to enjoy country to appreciate art like whiskey myers creates
Perfectly stated.
My ten year old granddaughter knows every word to this and many more Whiskey Myers. One proud Grandpa
Good stuff ...I'm getting ready to go see them at tailgating and tallboys music festival in Illinois

Algorithm brought me to whiskey Myers about 6 months ago. My 17 yo son already knew of them. Better late then never. Awesome music 😍
So good. It's been a long friggin day and this hit the spot.

Of course brotha
Yeah listening but only because I was comparing it to the acoustic version. He hits on that one so much harder with the vocals, I'm not sure I would have liked him so much if I just heard this one...
Still EPIC❤
Saw these guys this past Sunday along with Jamey Johnson.... to say I was impressed would be an understatement! Whiskey Myers blew the roof off of the building!!!!!!! It has been 3 days and I am still hyped up from their performance!!
If you ever get a chance to see these guys, DO IT!! You will not be disappointed!
Taking my 16 year old son to see them in North Charleston this Sunday!!!
When you're fed up with "bro country" you branch out and find stuff like this
Right
I don't know how that pop music passes the country censors these days.
🤘🏿❤!

Just discovered this great band from binge watching Yellowstone! So glad I did!
Remember what season and episode it was on? I remember hearing it on that series also but forgot what episode.
@@haies09 I believe season 1 episode 4 but not 100% on episode
@@standbyfortones5554 you’re correct. Thanks
I heard the American Idol version, which was great! Then I went looking for Whiskey Meyers. Amazing singer/songwriter!! This is REAL music folks.
Have not heard of this band until 6 months ago. They're bringing country back!

Whiskey Myers ❤️
Not sure what's in that Texas water bt that great state is sure pumping out sum tremendous artist...Cody Jinks, Randy Rogers and of course Whiskey Myers!! Love it boys keep it coming
Texas boy here . I grew up on pure country gold music I’m 34 now and I can remember my dad jamming old country. It’s been a while now since I’ve heard country that was worth a damn. But that god for whiskey, Chris Stapleton, uncle Lucius, and a few others,
it's freedom.
they don't sell out to the devil
Texas makes stronger people than most i believe. I too am an ol'boy from Texas. We stay true to our colors
Been sayin it for a while now true country comes from Texas these days not Nashville anymore
Been with you boys since back in Palestine. I live many many of your songs. This is a masterpiece that resonates through my soul.
The first thing my 3 year old son does when this plays in my truck is says "Turn it up, daddy!" so I turn it up. "Louder daddy!" Then when it ends I hear "Play it again, daddy!"
Beautiful man, i have two kids, and showing them the good music, greetings from the south of Brazil.
It's a great feeling when your kids can share your appreciation, and love for great music. Real music. Unlike the majority of crap that's out, and popular in most circles.
You're teaching him the love of great music & creating wonderful memories for both of you. Keep it up, Daddy!!!
My boys are 27,25 and 20 but I remember those days. In fact it was my 20 yr old who passed this song on to me.
The best lol
Been loving these guys for 12 years. You can give me the early morning shakes anytime
Early Morning Shakes and Frogman are my favorite songs by WM. Saw them last year and going to see them again in a couple months!!!
Stone is my favorite. But trying to pick a favorite from them is always a close call
Sara Trankler I cant believe they have been around that long and i just heard of them last year. Who is running nashville anyway!?!?
hair ledoux bunch of pop loving pussies
Sara Trankler already
Every time I hear this song, I think of Rip and Beth on Yellowstone, dancing to this song. It caught me immediately, and I had to order the CD on Amazon. A truly great song, and a fun reminder of one of the best shows on TV today.
Heard these guy play live in a bar randomly one night and have been a fan since. Love them
Need more music like this these days!!
This is my new favorite song .Saw the boy sing it on American Idol never had heard it before love love it now .
Came here because I heard this song on an episode of Yellowstone. Now I can’t stop listening to this artist.
