She is not much different and have seen her nastiness in person. While flying with an airline I used to work for, her frumpiness was complaining that she had to carry her own travel bag. I saw her at time if boarding and she acted like we should be privileged to be in her company. She and Andrew deserve each other. My BFF's husband was in the Navy. She had the option to remain home or take herself and their kids where he was stationed, most of the time. She couldn't be there when he was on submarine duty, but she stayed at housing and either worked or volunteered, as things became available. That wasn't an option for Sarah. The palace advisors felt it wasn't appropriate. Things may have gone differently if she had just lived with him where he was stationed. She could have found plenty of opportunities as a Navy spouse to work and contribute. Possibly.

I was outside waiting to cross the street and I was reading the magazine. I just happened to look up and I thought I saw Fergie standing across the street from me. I held the magazine up in disbelief and she saw looking at her in utter confusion and disbelief. She left her limo and crossed the street and autographed my magazine. Super kind and AWESOME. It's not so much a penalty of being a Royal, it's a penalty of being a Naval wife. My dad spent around thirty-five years in the Navy, and, as children, me and my sister barely saw him while we were growing up. We got used to him not being around for months at a time, because it was all we ever knew, and my dad has since said that he would go away to sea and when he came back, months later, we'd changed so much he barely recognised us.
Andrews adult life was a very embarrassing life, when he was in his teens and 20’s he was dubbed RandyAndy! He was well wrapped up with Epstein and thought, like most of his life he can get away with every thing! He is /was the 2nd heir to the thrown before his brother had kids, most 2nd to the thrown siblings( prior to kids being born to the first heir) are wild child’s, look at the queens sister Margaret, Prince Andrew and Prince Harry! I love Sarah, Duchess of York. Yes, okay, she's made some mistakes. Who hasn't? But I saw a video of work she was doing setting up after school recreational centers for kids to keep them from falling into patterns of trouble. I was really impressed with her. Not only does she have a warm, loving personality; sunny and bubbly, too, but she is wonderfully intelligent. All in all, she strikes one as delightful company.
Because of royal duties, I"ve only ever thought of Andrew as cold, distant, rather emotionally unavailable. Maybe this whole Epstein thing was just some passive aggression against the restrictions of royal duty? Hopefully, the collapse of this poor decision-making has given him new perspectives on living life going forward.
Now that both of them have been released from the rigors of the royal family and could possibly have proper time for each other, if they wanted to remarry, I think this would be a good thing. They would have family based love in each other, being married sets a good example of stabity for their children and grandchildren while drawing the House of York back together as a cohesive unit. After remarriage, there is nothing that says the pair couldn't go into business together, or continue on with their own set of charities which would give them good purpose and direction.
Yes, I think it would be lovely to see the House if York put itself into good order and recover itself from the past while moving forward into the future. In any event, best wishes to them all. May their tomorrow's be filled with forgiveness, love, and many good things.

It was rough on her. She did love her prince despite him being boorish but there would be only so much of that you could tolerate before the love died which is no doubt a contributing factor in their marriage failing. I liked her but she hasn’t covered herself in glory over the years and I don’t mean her affairs. I can understand that and dint blame her. I wish her luck but not with the awful truly awful Andrew. I am a great fan of Sarah, Duchess of York but feel it was naive not to expect a naval man to be away at sea for long periods. My family are naval officers and it is well known this is a requirement of their lives. Nonetheless they have brought up two really lovely well balanced daughters so they obviously have provided a good albeit unconventional family life.
Once married, Sarah probably expected her husband to scale back his career or retire to be home more frequently.

I think they divorced, because the public found-out about this; and it reflects negatively on the British Royal Family who are supposed to appear perfect or close to it. I also think Sarah felt unhappy having Andrew around so little though. I don't know why they'd want to remarry, since things have been going okay for them as they are for quite a while. I think she’s living in denial of the SA allegations, doesn’t want to lash out at her true love, so does so at the victim. I feel bad that Andrew put her in this position because his history with Epstein, Maxwell and his accuser/victim Duffré. When all is finalized including civil criminal culpability and restitution and settlement, her’s and her daughter’s worlds are going to crumble and the Queen has stripped him of all possible titles. I knew of Andrew’s connections to Epstein in ‘90’s and when Epstein had his first civil case in the 2000’s, I thought it wouldn’t bode well for Andrew or his family. Things do not look well civilly or socially for Andrew and Sarah has to wake up and realize the reality that will effect her and her daughter’s family. The Royal’s protected him for a VERY long time and the Queen is just reacting to all of this! I have no pity for the senior Royals at all, whom this is “all of a sudden an issue” became. For Sarah Eugenia and Beatrice, there’s psychological trauma including allegedly a minor aged “date” to one of his daughter’s 16th birthday party where the Queen and Prince Phillip and Charles and his brothers. This will be hard on the house of York in many ways and the innocent ones not connected to Epstein are walking through an emotional ring of trauma. The more seniors of the family if they continue to use stall tactics with lawyers and “protect” him, the worse they’ll be perceived by the public!
