This may not have been clear in your previous reactions, or you may have meant hiatus rather than disband... but the group has absolutely NOT "disbanded". They have been focusing on solo works in the lead up to their military service, the last 4 members have begun the enlistment process, but they have recently re-signed their contracts with their company as a group with the expectation of coming back together in 2025 once all members have completed their mandatory service.
BTS will return as a group in 2025 again to dominate the world music industry even more. They did not disband , the group is on a temporary hiatus for military services. The members that are already in the military will start coming back from next year 2024 and the rest of the members will come back in 2025 , and start making songs as a group again.
Please don't refer to their early albums as mistakes, especially when you haven't heard them. There are some great tracks you would be missing out on if you just dismissed them. And BTS roots are still in hip hop and R&B.💜
It's this docu. Thats my problem with it. He diminishes their early albums lije it wasnt as genuine as when HYYH era started. Sure it was raw and even the boys themeselves would feel cringy when looking at their past looks but the music was still genuine for that period of time in their lives
@@formulaofjihyo yeah just their looks, but the music they're really proud of them even from the start. I mean the loss of sleep and fatigue. They worked hard since the beginning.
I was going to comment about this exact point! The older albums are so important in their discography, of course for the music and performances, but also because of the messages it held. I loved Bangtan because they had a voice and had something to say, which is very clear in their earlier work. Also, the music is still A-tier in my opinion. However, I do recommend checking out the newer performances of those older songs for a better experience (mostly because of the styling😂).
Would be cool for you to watch Suchwita (Suga’s interview show). All of the members have at least one ep. RM ep 1, Jimin ep 7, Suga/August D ep 9 (has RM as the host), Jin ep 12, J-hope ep 14, Jungkook ep 15 (and 21) and V ep 18
Whoa, they have not disbanded, they pushed pause for enlistment. They're using the time when the group is not complete to work on solo projects, instead of performing as a group of less than seven. They've already resigned with BigHit for their return.
One thing missing from the video you reacted to is how many hardships they went through. Yeah it may seem like they “don’t really have competition” retrospectively looking at the statistics, but the BTS that I fell for is how nobodies/underdogs became the greatest name in the world. If you are into their journey, you just can’t miss the tough parts of it. ❤I believe you will love them and their music more if you learn about it.😊They also wrote about their hard times in their music, through which they deliver heartfelt messages to the world. Please pay attention to the lyrics when it comes to BTS.❤Thank you so much for spending this much of time on digging their stories. I can see that you are sincere about it, and appreciate it so much.
Fun fact: RM now means 'Real Me'. He changed it a few years ago cause he felt that the full form 'rap monster didn't suit him cause his raps nowadays are softer and more real.
No I actually doesn’t. That’s a bit of a mistranslation. RM once said “I don’t know, I guess it could be something like Real Me or whatever” when asked in an interview if RM stands for something different now. It’s just RM, nothing in particular.
FYI BTS did not disband they are currently on hiatus while they are doing military service..each member has released their solo work during this time. They will all finish military in 2025 and will reunite, they have also renewed their contract for 2025 and beyond. Hope this clears things up.
Even though it might be tempting to start with I Need U (album: Most Beautiful Moment in Life Part 1), I'd still recommend going chronological with their first album and then progress from there. The older albums have some really good tracks and it's really cool to see their progression in style and maturity. Just one ARMY voice in the midst of many, so feel free to choose how you navigate the journey :)
I agree. Most reactors don't do it, though they just end up jumping around all over because they pick songs they hear or requests they get. I think the best way to experience the journey is to start at the beginning.
One of my favorite songs "Hip Hop lover" is an amazing homage to their hip hop idols. It is an old but fantastic song. Wow, Mongolia is a country I´m looking forward to visit one day. Love some Mongolian singers. Once in a lifetime to be able to put together this 7 amazing boys. Yes, the chances to find 7 talented, but hard working good people. I think a good way to sarts is chronological cause you will understand their evolution and the connection between albums. There are tons of B sides that are extraordinary. The Dark and wild album is a masterpece.
I believe the members of BTS were fated and meant to be together. I believe they knew each other in a previous life and made a pact to find each other in this life - no matter what.... and they did. The members you see are the people they are: authentic 100%. There's no fake.
1tym wasn't the father/prototype of KPop, it was actually Seo Taiji and Boys in the early 90s who fused western pop/hip hop sound & choreo w/ Korean. The Idol industry that followed was strongly influenced by them and Seo Taiji is literally referred to as the father of Kpop. Like BTS who came after, they didn't shy away from social commentary/critic and for their 25th anniversary concert in 2017 actually invited BTS to perform with them as a sort of passing the torch off.
Oh I got to 37:28.. you mentioned JCole. They made a cover of his song Born Sinner, the name is Born Singer. You should listen to the live performance, the oldest one when they were young, in concert, and with subtitles, is amazing. Also JHope has a song with JCole, he was his inspiration since he was young and it was a dream come true for him to have JCole on his song, he actually gave him the stage and JCole has a huge part of this track.
Please don't ignore the early albums. Lots of classic BTS vibes were b-side songs from before I Need U. Significant songs like Path, Moving On, Hip Hop File, Danger etc. No mv but their b-sides are all just as good as title songs.
You’re right about the group’s perfect blend at the outset. After 10 years, you will see how that raw blend was honed with hard work. Also since they lived together, all their interests and passions rubbed off on everyone else. So now, all of them compose, write and produce songs. (Suga’s talk show, Suchwita, when featuring his bros, often reveal unpublished anecdotes into their life as trainees.) They did not separate nor disband! They suspended their group activities until 2025 when they are all back from military service. In fact they recently renewed their contract for another 10 years. Note that while on solo activities everyone still introduced themselves as - of BTS and mention they miss their members.
Careful. Folks get really touchy about the words hiatus and disbandment. All the guys are rotating through the military and still introduce themselves as their name then "of BTS". They signed a new contract and have a plan for getting back together in 2025 after they are all discharged from the military. These guys have all talked about the stage being difficult to fill and lonely without their members. Some say that this is a group of amazing solo artists that all want to be together as opposed to a group that has one or 2 standouts and others that are in the back. These guys cheer each other on and clearly love each other. They are all competitive when playing games but their work product isn't about competition, rather synergy is what happens when they are together. Check the video of the behind the scenes with Cold Play when they made My Universe. You can see a quick snapshot of their process and connection. I hope you enjoy your BTS journey.
Just think, you will have time to watch all of the BTS content before they come back in 2025 after all members have served in the military. It's going to be epic and you will be a part of it. The first member to serve, Jin, is due to get out in June of 2024 and I am hoping he releases solo songs while the rest of the group finishes their service. Before Jin left for the military, he released Astronaut which was a goodbye song to ARMY. You should watch his live performance during the Cold Play concert. Be sure to listen to Chris' speech and introduction of Jin. It's so touching!
46:32 EXACTLY THANK YOU! Everything about them is so unique and wonderful - their journey, their music, their friendship and their relationship with their fans. Plus they don't have weird industry connections, they don't do payola - they don't have to! When you have an army of fans who will lobby for you and fight for you and demand the industry and people to pay attention to you, there's really not much you have to do but live up to that hype - and oh boy they definitely do. And as you keep going down this rabbit hole, as you watch more videos, music, their live streams, interviews - you realize just how much they love music, each other, their fans and themselves. Just how humble and grateful they are, how creative they are, how they are so well planned and organised and strategic with their career - they're perfect man. And not because they live up to some impossible ideals, but simply because they are themselves, and their fans see that and love that.
You mentioned J. Cole. j-hope did a collab song with him called “on the street.” J. Cole has been Hobi’s inspiration and he’s paid several homages to him, including the inspo for his name jhope and mixtape ‘Hope World.’ This collab was a dream come true for hobi and now they text and hobi calls him “hyung.” 🫶🏻
Our guys decided to pursue their own solo projects and albums before they fulfilled their military requirement... I cannot wait for you to get into Hobi/J-Hope at least years lollapalooza
I HIGHLY HIGLY HIGHLY suggest for you to start watching The Rise of Bangtan. There are 22 Chapters (Episodes), and by watching that you will truly understand the whole 'nother world of KPOP, BTS' chronological journey in KPOP and world domination and how they literally paved the way for KPOP. It's the whole package of understanding and learning their whole journey.
Their debut and early albums are still a reflection of their experience and takeaways from Hip Hop/R&B. A lot of their early tracks tackle about about pressures on young kids in a tough economy, societal and parents expectations, peer pressure, and competitive school system. That's why even then their albums were recognized as different and rebellious compared to what was being produced by other groups
Among their early albums, their "Skool" albums lean more toward hip-hop and rap, while their "Dark & Wild" album hits differently. It has some more complex melodies and highlights the vocal line a bit more. This is one of my favorite earlier albums, and IMO, a good place to start... that is, unless you want to start at the beginning and work your way through the entire discography! That's what I'm doing while they are doing their military service, and I'm having fun rediscovering some of their older songs. I hope you continue to enjoy our very talented young men. 💜
Think of it as Chapters. Chapter 1 is their first 10 years. Chapter 2 is the solo work as their start their military service. BTW BTS still released a song Take Two which was a hit in 2023. Chapter 3 will be when they come back together after their military service in 2025 with hopefully a tour in 2025. We already know that they have materials stacked up for release until Jin comes back in June 2024 followed by the rest of the members.
Hiya, this is a good video guide BUT, like you said, there is an updated version. I suggest you go to their beginning , and start from their first song No More Dream ( at least that one ) , and then just pick whatever era you like , if you don’t want to do them in order. You don’t have to go chronologically. They were babies back then , with soooo many dreams and fears. The old , the new, the solos, their dance practices, their variety shows, etc…Sometimes it’s just fun to mix it up, but their first video is always a must. I recommend you stop the video you’re watching when you want to comment on something, cause if not you miss out on things ( as evidenced by you not knowing what BTS stood for when it was clearly stated in the last guide you reacted to) . I’m not trying to tell you what to do, I’m only suggesting so you don’t miss out. This way, you can pay more attention to what you’re hearing or reading. Always put your captions on when watching their videos, and always watch till the very end cause sometimes their videos continue after the screen goes black. It’s always exciting for ARMY to watch new people reacting to BTS. We will follow your journey 💜
If u wish understand the context/environment in whuch BTS operates in, the "Rise of Bangtan" is a good documentary series put together by a fan/pro video editor. Among their many variety content, suggest you alternate BTS Run with Bon Voyage (In The Soop can wait till Bon Voyage done when u know members better and can enjoy the slower-paced staycation). "American Hustle Life" is the first of BTS official documentaries and good early-career starting point.
27:30 oooh ok so i would still recommend you check out their earlier work cause even if it didn't achieve main stream success, they are still stellar pieces of work, they talk about dreams, pressures of school, young love - all wrapped in pure hip hop. Dark & Wild is actually one of their best albums, a lot of older armys like this one. I'm a newer army and I originally really liked more of the pop sounding songs from them but doing deep dives helped me understand the sheer diversity these boys bring and their true love and respect for hip-hop. Plus those older albums have some of their most interesting work - they're also a bit politically aware, speak on social/cultural issues, about their country etc. Really good 1st 4 albums so yeah please give them a listen, atleast the titles if not all.
You already are a “Baby Army” like me a year ago. I love the way you appreciate them and how you reacted. Please continue to support BTS even though they will go for military and keep on react on their videos and I will watch it. I do really love them specially the Golden Maknae Jungkook…I will support them until they will comeback on 2025.
Watching their first movie Burn the Stage will help you understand a lot about them and how hard they work. It’s really good and there are 2 more after that you can also check out.
This isn’t a video recommendation, but I do HIGHLY RECOMMEND you read their book “Beyond the Story”. It tells you their story of many ups and downs of their career in a breakdown of the past decade they have come through together as a group.
Some additional info to ur asute observations: - Among the many factors for BTS success..like JK said, he was fortunate to be in a group of genuinely good people. The members doesn't have any big egos (or wants to b the breakout star) and have prioritized group work for 10yrs. - Jimin's muscles at outset was actually from his contemporary dance training which included muscle devt req to execute dance moves (+ doing maintenance work for debut as he was assigned to show off his muscles) - Jhope was able to transfer his musicality talent to music production (not every dancer could do that so it speaks volumes abt his talent). - Their third yr "I Need You" comeback was supposed to be their last if they dont succeed since money & resources were finite (company near bankruptcy at a pt).
They didn’t disbanded bestie they are just on hiatus we can say like that but they have been active as solos this year but they gonna be reuniting in 2025 if everything goes all well for for the members🥹💜
This is the story of their success, if you want to know them better I like to recommend The rise of bangtan it's includes all of their failure, success, hardwork and hardtime they get from hater
I honestly think you should listen to bts music however you feel it will be the most enjoyable. However, if you want to understand bts more, you might want to start from the beginning since they always tell their story throughout their albums. Not only that but you'll notice their evolution both musically and lyrically. Bts has so many songs with insightful, inspiring and meaningful lyrics.
I think the best way to go would be from the beginning, because their album have themes and tell their story. Since you enjoy documentaries, there is a series "The rise of Bangtan", very well made, around 20 something episodes, that follow their jurney. It' VERY well made and entertaining, and you can watch one episode and then listen to the album, or at least main singles from the album/albums from that specific era.
Warning... choose your words carefully. ARMY is very protective of BTS. The group did not disband; they took a hiatus because of the mandatory military service. They re-signed their contracts this year to extend thru another 7 years. They will return in 2025 as a group.
Another great reaction from you! Thank you. If you should happen upon an ARMY member that you can talk to they can guide you through the process of their albums if you choose to do it chronologically. If you find a person on here or elsewhere who can guide you, let them help you set up future reactions. But how you watch them is entirely up to you! Sometimes it can be confusing when you hear their producer (and boss basically) saying they were given "complete freedom" to explore and to create music. While they were given room to create they still went though the same Korean Idol training system: learning to dance, learning to sing, learning Japanese, watching their weight, keeping them fit, monthly reviews of their progress by the management of Big Hit each month, etc. . .Were they allowed to do whatever they want? No. Were they kept from going home to see their families to learn the choreo of a new release or record for a new song? Yes. But one thing was different: they were encouraged to write and compose music based on their own real life experience rather than simply singing whatever songs they were told to sing. (Though that happened as well from time to time, but much less than other companies.) They have been well trained in the art of being Idols. They worked their butts off to get where they are. What we know to day is this: Something clicked that brought them together in an unexpected way. To this day no one knows what made that happened and their production company Hybe acknowledges that if they did the exact same training with seven other artists they have no idea if it would work out. They worked hard to get to where they are today. And as the final four go off to complete their military service you have time to start your BTS journey. And see BTS through new eyes and experience what most of us have experienced. And what a journey it will be. ARMY will help you make sense of their journey so reach out to experienced Army for suggestions, they'll gladly help you. I promise. Glad to see you are feeling better today. You've got this. Welcome to ARMY and welcome to the rabbit hole. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Bro they are not disbanded. They are just going to mandatory military in korea. And they are going for a comeback/reunion in 2025. As of now, korea is already preparing for their mega concert because of the highly demand that fans are showing. They gift us with their solo albums before they go to military and so many contents to fill us up while they are gone for the meantime. Actually, next year, June 2024, Jin hyung will finish his military training. Also, jhope in october 2024. You better catch up with all of their contents before their comeback in 2025 😅 goodluck with that because i myself is only at the 50% of the content and music. Start with watch their mv MIC DROP, FAKE LOVE, BLACK SWAN and etc. Then RUN BTS , IN THE SOOP, BON VOYAGE video contents.
Here is advised to watch them from the start to present ... Know their first album 2 Cool 4 Skool and find their song and plat it on to YT .... If there is no subtitle watch it in color coded... MV... and their LIve performance... That's it..... and welcome to the group digging a bunch of rabbit hole. 💜
No they didn't disband. They took a break because of the military, as you mentioned, now focusing on solo projects. Then after they are all return from the military they will unite and make a comeback in 2025-2026. Also there is a more updated video that is titled "Updated 2023" but it's only up to 2022. I think you should watch that as well. But I suggest watching the last part where it continues from 2021. I hope you can also react to BTS Hardships 2013-2021 by XCeleste. It's hard to watch but so worth it.

hello! Thank you for your reaction and comments. Just to clarify, BTS has not disbanded, they started with solo work due to South Korea's mandatory military service, but they are still a group and are looking to work again as such starting in 2025 (during that year the last members who joined enlisted this year will have ended their service), Thanks again, and I hope you enjoy and take it easy on everything BTS has to offer 💜
AFTER THIS ONE YOU SHOULD SEE "THE RISE OF BANTAN STARTING WITH PART # 1 ETC. THEN "FROM NOBODIES TO LEGENDS ". AND THANK YOU FOR REACTING TO OUR BOYS BTS. 💜💜💜 THEY DIDN'T DISBAND THEY ARE ON A BREAK BECAUSE THEY ARE GOING TO THE MILITARY AND THEY ALSO HAVE ALREADY SIGNED A CONTACT WITH HYPE FOR ANOTHER 7 YEARS.
Thank you for your reaction to BTS!! They've even gone on to make more major hits since this video. Have fun on your journey of listening to their songs one of my favorites is Fake Love also ON but there's so many the list just goes on and on
I totally enjoyed watching your reactions because you got it so quickly! Usually it takes many weeks or months or longer to fully get the impact that they have made on global music. I can't wait to watch more of your reactions and share their journey with you. Thank you!
One of the big reasons that their group works so well is Bang PD. He taught them it was okay to fight with each other, but to solve the problem they come together as 7 and talk things out. They argue, they are humans, but they come together and work things out as a team. They are family now, not just a group.
There is another extremely well made , but quite long series called Rise of Bangtan. This gives not only a good look into everything BTS went through but also a good look into the Korean and KPop culture
There are a lot of BTS songs to listen since when they started through the currents ones. Most popular are: I Need You; Dope; Idol; Black Swan; On; Run - so many. But in a snap shot, watch their live concerts at Wembley; at the Rose Bowl; Osaka concert; MAMA Awards; MNET Awards; Permission to Dance concert at SoFi; Las Vegas. You have years to catch up! Enjoy them.
They did not disband. They are coming back as a group in 2025. They are on a break due to mandatory military enlisted. Jin, JHope and Suga started a few months after each other. This December, all 4 will enlist - RM, V, Jimin and Jung Kook. Big Hit planned this so the presence of BTS members are still visible so us Army still have content albeit to still have their presence. Jin will complete his stint in June 2024. JHope in October. The rest will be done by June 2025. In a way, Army still see BTS members’ presence here and there.
I really recommend you to react to the BEST documentary about BTS you could ever find. It's a fan made docu-series here on TH-cam. It's called "The Rise of Bangtan" and have 21 episodes now. It's really the best one to know everything about their journey since the very beginning. And it also have behind the scenes and deleted content for each episode that are super fun and interesting. I'm sure you'll love it!!
They did not disband. They are on a break for their military enlistment and are coming back in 2025. As much as you would like to react to “I Need You”, I would highly encourage you to start in chronological order from their 1st Album first as they have great amazing songs from those albums from the beginning as well.
Oh man! Halsey is our girl! She has an amazing friendship with BTS specially Suga. She calls him her soul twin. On his documentary for his album D-day, Suga goes to her house and she even played with his hair. So cute to see! They did a few collabs together.. my favorite is Lilith.. a song for the video gama Diablo IV. Oh! There's an update version of this video. Its worth to watch because a lot happened after that. Great reaction! 💜
They did not disband. They are on a break while each member fulfills his military duty. They will be back together in 2025 and it's going to be epic! 💜
Please watch the Rise of Bangtan series. It is literally a journey with them. The series contains 21 episodes. You really need to watch it. 🙏🙏🙏🙏💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
One correction to a statement you made around 44:20'ish - they did NOT Disband. They are still a group but just taking a break from group activities while the members enlist. They have re-signed with their company to regroup in 2025/2026 when they are all out of the military. I found them late too - in early 2021. I'm full-fledged ARMY now and never looking back. To show how much these guys care about each other, in 2022 they ALL got a "7" tattoo (some had NO tattoo's before that) to symbolize that they will always be 7 as BTS. They talk about still performing when they are 50 or 60 in nightclubs and such. They are ALL looking forward to performing together again. Of course, we ARMY can't wait for that day also. There are some solo stans who don't want it, or antis or other group fanbases, but it's going to happen and I will be there for it (assuming my health holds out). One last thing to mention is that the Updated version says 2023, but it is only updated through April or May 2022, just like Taylor Mari's guide was. June 2022 - at their anniversary - is when they announced a hiatus from group activities but they didn't mention military service at that time. They did perform a final group concert on Oct 15, 2022 in Busan, SK called the Yet to Come concert. They released an anthology album called Proof mid-2022 with 3 CD's and containing 3 new songs: Yet to Come, "Run BTS", and For Youth. More on that later in your journey. The first song on their album is Born Singer (a remake of J-Cole's Born Sinner). You really should listen to that one - there is an early version Live filled with emotion, and then in 2022 at the Yet to Come Live (not the Busan concert) - they did that song, Yet to Come and For Youth.
There are pictures of Tae's dad when he was young. Tae is the SPITTING image of his father. He looked like his mom when he was young but as a man, he looks exactly like his father The Bts universe is an AMAZING storyline. It's actually getting it's own Kdrama that recently released a trailer called "Youth" It's A LOT to unpack but there are amazing videos on youtube that break it down easily. xCeleste made a very good video about it. It's an hour long
I truly appreciate your eagerness and desire to understand the group from the beginning. BTS is like not other. As you dive into the old albums and BTS's own variety shows you will see the support and love they have for each other. And how they continue to grow and try new things. I admire all that this group has accomplished. BTS will be reuniting in 2025 after completing their military obligations I am so excited.
You are NOT ready for I Need U yet…. Cuz it’s connected to their Bangtan Universe (BU) which is a very complicated storyline within their MVs… if you decided to watch it then please do the 19+ original version!!
Your right......now you have not only a history of their songs but, you see why so many people came to like them!!! Now you get it!!! Congratulations young man, you are truly in the BTS rabbit hole🤣😅😄😂😅🤣🤪🙃🙃 You see how you wanted to dive into so many things at once....... You young man are a ARMY.....😂😅😊 Welcome to the family, and FAMILY is truly why BTS have gone so far and are still together. 🫰💜🫰💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Sorry.... They r not disbanding.... They r just focusing on their solo career now.... They will be back as a band in 2025 once they r done with their military duty. Army will be waiting for them...hope u will also be part of us in 2025, cheering for our boys!....
They haven't disbanded but only doing solo work for now. Jungkook is not the first member of BTS to top Bb 100, Jimin is the first to top BB100 in April with his solo work single Like Crazy. Hope you enjoy your journey with their music.
Their firsts songs weren’t bad at all and for that reason they received the award of the best new artist. So you can start with their firsts songs before I Need You. All of them have MV and are iconic No more dream We are bulletproof p. 2 N.O. Boy in Luv Just One Day Danger
If there's something I have learned from BTS is just sometimes talent is not giving to you when you are born but you can achieve It by working hard. Jin didn't know how to sing before being a trainee, he started to learn to sing when he was 20 years old and you can see how an amazing singer he is now because he worked hard for It.
They are such an underdog story. They are mostly outside the industry in Korea and west and get sabotaged constantly but have Army behind them supporting them. The guys are beyond friends but true blinding family and we support what they do. Now they do fight, infamously best friends/soulmates V and Jimin had a huge longer memorable fight over eating dumplings. Such a big fight they wrote/inspired not one but two songs about it 😂😂. But more seriously they were so stressed about getting big and their huge success they almost broke up. While they discussed it Suga wrote a song that helped them decide to stay together Outro:Tear a rapline only hard song that fans thought was about a romantic breakup but later we learned the heartbreaking truth. A must watch a live of this best rapline performance. Enjoy the journey it’s fo rewarding!! 💜💜💜💜
They are NOT disbanded😅,, they have to enlist the military where the last batch is this Dec'23. The boys plan to come back together in 2025. Bang PD and RM has mentioned there wilk be a project for anniversary 10th yr of The most beautiful moment in life
You, young man, have now seriously become my favorite reactor!!!❤ Are you buckled in? Already you are understanding how humble and talented they are! Start at the beginning and then interspersed with a sprinkling of more current music and of COURSE their variety shows. Watch American Hustle soon as it was a gift to them from Bang for working hard. You mentioned J Cole. Jhope did a collab with him just this year before enlisting. On the Street. There is so much....but Suga, Min Yoongi. Said "it doesn't matter if you have been ARMY for a long time or are new, we will always love you"! Can't wait for your mind to be blown more!!!❤❤🙃
I know that you will probably have already watched the video for I Need U, but that video, not the song but the video, is the start of the Bangtan Universe or BU. It's the fictional storyline that runs through years worth of their albums. The story is mostly told through MVs, and films/short films, though. Some aspects of the BU were set up to mirror some of their song lyrics, but the songs hit completely differently when you just listen to them, instead of watching the MV. There is a whole list of videos to watch for the BU, in order, but you may not want to get into the BU yet. It's an awful lot to just get to know the boys, much less a fictional story line. When you do want to get into the BU, I Need U has two versions of the MV. One that's rated age 19+ and one that has had some scenes cut out and has a lower rating. For BU purposes, the uncut MV is the best to watch, if you haven't already. Run is also part of the BU. They have Run! BTS, the variety show, Run, the older song that's part of the BU, and Run BTS, a completely different song that was just released last year. I know, it can be overwhelming and confusing. There is a LOT of content. Personally, I think it would be better to start with their first album and go in chronological order. That way, you can see the changes in their music that are talked about in this video.
@44:12 just to be clear, bts is not disband. They just pause their group activity and already had contract amd plan to return as a group in 2025 after their military service.
Yes, they have not disbanded they are on break since Jin, J-Hope and Suga are currently on military service. JK, RM, V and Jimin are now preparing their enlistment all together. They will all return on 2025 after fulfilling their military service. They also renewed their contract with their company. BTS is BangTan Sonyeodan in Korean and in English Bulletproof Boy Scouts. 😊🫶🫰💜
As an ARMY I need to correct you that BTS did not disband. Some of BTS members are serving their country and the others are expanding their music artistry as a solo artist until they themselves serve their country by the end of the year. We ARMY will be waiting for their comeback in 2025. And I think rice sqaud has an updated version of this guide. You should watch it.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
BTS has not disbanded lol. They did solo albums to get more experience and more music creativity. But they are still a group. After completing their military service they will return as a group. Also they just recently signed a new contract to return as a group
If you wanna get a glimpse of their journey from 2013 you can watch 'Rise Of The Bangtan' episodes. It is a very wellmade fanmade docu series about BTS. You'll get to watch their personality as well as the journey from first song. Also you can watch American Hustle Life before that. Some fans doesn't like it because of some controversial things that happened here but also many likes it overall cause it's a part of their journey.
45:58 bts themselves told us that they also had a fight with each other, in fact that's what makes their bond extremely strong now. They think they should face the fight, they said a lot of groups failed because they're afraid of the fight between members. RM said if the fight is between 2 or 3 members, they should solved it as a group no matter how embarrassing the cause of the fight might be.
@44:07 biggg misconception. They are *not* disbanded. Since they cannot be together due to the military, they decided to persue solo work to grow as individual artists. Each member has expressed their desire and excitement to come back together as a group in 2025. Just the other day, it was announced that the 4 members that have not enlisted yet (Namjoon, Jungkook, Taehyung, and Jimin) will be enlisting soon. They're all going now so they can get out around 2025.
This is a great video that gives you an overview of their musical journey and the 2023 update is the same video with added info of the Dynamite era to the Butter era….I would highly suggest you also react to the Rise of Bangtan series made by an ARMY. It is amazing docu series told through various content…like interviews, behind the scenes, etc…pulled from different sources to best tell their story, struggles, success. Also xCeleste has a video specifically on their hardships. BTS has a few variety shows…Rookie King, American Hustle Life, BTS Gayo, Run BTS, Bon Voyage and In The Soop
IT WAS NOT A MISTAKE IT WAS A JOURNEY. THEY DID NOT MAKE ANY MISTAKE AS WE WOULD CALL MISTAKE LIFE IS A JOURNEY. AND PEOPLE OF TO TRY DIFFERENT THINGS UNTIL THEY FIND OUT WHAT WORK USING THE WORD MISTAKE CAN BE INTERPRETED WRONGLY.
Taehyung used to live with his grandparents who were farmers bcs his parents used to be very busy and he lived 14+ years with his grandparents also his role model is his father💜
Please don't call their first albums mistakes. First them doing hip-hop was never a mistake. In Korea at the time real rapping was not allowed to be mainstream. Their hope was to change that and they did. Their first albums are great. They rapped and sang about real problems in their own lives and in society. I found them their first week of debut and when I heard their no more dream lyrics I looked at my daughter and said it's about damn time.
Please understand they have NOT disbanded! Do not continue saying this. They are just doing their mandatory military service. They are all going in this year so they will all be discharged in 2025. They just signed another 7 year contract with Hybe/Big Hit. They have all done solo work for their fans to get ready for them being in the military. BTS is still a group and will be forever! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
👍👍
Yep yep, they are still together as a group but just working on solo projects since they haven't done this.
Yeah we even got 2 OT7 songs this year
Ikr
They just renew their contract
BTS will return as a group in 2025 again to dominate the world music industry even more. They did not disband , the group is on a temporary hiatus for military services.
The members that are already in the military will start coming back from next year 2024 and the rest of the members will come back in 2025 , and start making songs as a group again.
👍👍
I personally cannot wait for them to finish their military service and rock the world again 💜💜💜
44:09 They didn’t disbanded they’re in a long break they will comeback as a group in 2025 after finishing their military service 🙏
Sure it was raw and even the boys themeselves would feel cringy when looking at their past looks but the music was still genuine for that period of time in their lives
that's right, I love their old school tracks vibe, it's something you can not find in music industry this age
@@jenjin9492honestly the members wouldn't cringe on the song itself but more on how they used to look
I will delete this comment once you hyphenate re-sign.
(Without the hyphen, resign means to quit.)
Please edit your comment and write "They've already re-signed their contract with BigHit for their return n 2025." instead. Borahae!
Please add a hyphen(-), right now the meaning stands as they quit💜
@@histfictfan4460 An interesting response from a fellow educator. 😏
He should definitely watch xCeleste's video BTS Hardships 2013-2021 to get the full picture. 💜
@@imajinallthepurple Yeah that video gets me every time😢
Fun fact: RM now means 'Real Me'.
EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS
I agree too and Army will watch it with you . Borahae 💜
Thank you, was just about to type this about the real father of K pop..
And Seo Taiji and BTS did a whole collab concert together! 💜
(Suga’s talk show, Suchwita, when featuring his bros, often reveal unpublished anecdotes into their life as trainees.)
They did not separate nor disband!
Cole. j-hope did a collab song with him called “on the street.”
Some additional info to ur asute observations:
- Among the many factors for BTS success..like JK said, he was fortunate to be in a group of genuinely good people. The members doesn't have any big egos (or wants to b the breakout star) and have prioritized group work for 10yrs.
- Jimin's muscles at outset was actually from his contemporary dance training which included muscle devt req to execute dance moves (+ doing maintenance work for debut as he was assigned to show off his muscles)
- Jhope was able to transfer his musicality talent to music production (not every dancer could do that so it speaks volumes abt his talent).
- Their third yr "I Need You" comeback was supposed to be their last if they dont succeed since money & resources were finite (company near bankruptcy at a pt).
Im from Brazil and the BArmy is legendary...
The concerts here are another level
🫡🫰🏼
They didn’t disbanded bestie they are just on hiatus we can say like that but they have been active as solos this year but they gonna be reuniting in 2025 if everything goes all well for for the members🥹💜
i love how passionately he described BTS
They're not disbanded...they're just on hiatus for sometime..... BTS is the not the group its family.... BTS forever
This is the story of their success, if you want to know them better I like to recommend The rise of bangtan it's includes all of their failure, success, hardwork and hardtime they get from hater
36:22 tune in background IS BTS SONG CALLED MAKE IT RIGHT
I honestly think you should listen to bts music however you feel it will be the most enjoyable. However, if you want to understand bts more, you might want to start from the beginning since they always tell their story throughout their albums. Not only that but you'll notice their evolution both musically and lyrically. Bts has so many songs with insightful, inspiring and meaningful lyrics.
If you want to see more personality, the tour docuseries like burn the stage, bring the soul and break the silence is really good.
They will return in 2025 as a group.
you should delete this now@@fllwyrblssw9289 😅

But I suggest watching the last part where it continues from 2021.

Thank you!
I really enjoyed watching your honest reaction - and I look forward to seeing more as you journey down this crazy rabbit hole with all us ARMY!
2025 is the new chapter for BTS and army. They will comeback
I need u is still too early for u bestie THE WHOLE BU UNIVERSE IS GONNA OVERWHELM U 😭😭
please react to bts hardships 2013 - 2021 by xceleste they dealt with A LOT of bad stuff too which is important to understand.
He looked like his mom when he was young but as a man, he looks exactly like his father
The Bts universe is an AMAZING storyline. It's actually getting it's own Kdrama that recently released a trailer called "Youth"
It's A LOT to unpack but there are amazing videos on youtube that break it down easily. xCeleste made a very good video about it.
You young man are a ARMY.....😂😅😊
Welcome to the family, and FAMILY is truly why BTS have gone so far and are still together.
🫰💜🫰💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
BTS has the most organic success unlike any other kpop groups. That why BTS PAVED THE WAY.
All of them have MV and are iconic
No more dream

БТС-это легенда! Я узнала про них(от дочки) в 2017году и до сих пор слушаю и смотрю с удовольствием❤Россия с БТС❤
You should watch it.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Army still loves the old stuff and they ware still popular.
you should react to their live performances too
BTS has not disbanded lol. They did solo albums to get more experience and more music creativity. But they are still a group. After completing their military service they will return as a group. Also they just recently signed a new contract to return as a group
The Taylor Mari video dives into the members and their personalities, so you may get a better understanding of them
He has done that
If you wanna get a glimpse of their journey from 2013 you can watch 'Rise Of The Bangtan' episodes.
Finally, someone who checked out THIS intro. I am glad. This intro educated me so much as a baby ARMY ❤
Now you’re my favourite reactor fr thank you
@44:07 biggg misconception.
Thank you for watching this!
So excited that you are enjoying this! I really think you’d like RMs solo work
Please check out Why the music industry is terrified of Bts by Boracity. Also Bts hardship by xcelect 2019
