Thanks for the detailed review, Mark! We really enjoyed watching this one, and you’ve covered all the key points perfectly. We’re excited to see the Aeroo Pro by your side in many more sessions to come 👌🏼🎣
thanks guys, glad you enjoyed the video! You definitely created the best fishing drone out there - it's a winner. I use it more often than my boat, it's just more fun and a lot less hassle. More videos to come :)
Great vid, and a great middle of the road drone if you don't want to spend a bomb. However, I would disagree on the waterproof aspect. If you are fishing in wettish weather as we often do, a waterproof drone will handle that type of condition easily, plus a larger drone will handle stronger winds, so for that reason I still wouldn’t go past my Swell Pro Fisher Max, really just comes down to how much you want to spend. Happy fishing 👍🏻
Thanks, mate! I appreciate your perspective. The Swell Pro Fisher Max is definitely a top-notch drone for fishing, especially if you're out there in wet and wild conditions. But yeah, it’s a bit of an investment! For me, I tend to stick to fishing in fairer weather, so I don’t really feel the need to splurge on something that can withstand heavy rain. And to be honest, if I did drop $5000 on a drone, I’d probably be too nervous to fly it in anything extreme! The payload capacity on the Swell Pro is impressive, though-great for folks who want to run long lines with lots of hooks. Personally, I like to keep it simple with just 2-4 hooks; it keeps things more enjoyable for me. But hey, that’s the beauty of fishing-there’s a setup for everyone’s style! Happy fishing, and thanks for watching! 👍
Great review! I like to charge my batteries of 12V/5V when I go on multi-day fishing trips. What is the input voltage on the 4 battery charger hub? Or what is the output voltage from the wall adapter?
Hi, the wall adapter is rated for 25.2 Volt at 2 Amps or 50.4 watts. I would use a small 200 watt inverter with the supplied power adapter instead of making my own power supply. The battery capacity is 4000 mAh or 87.6 Wh. For a couple of days worth of charging you'd probably want at least a 1000Wh 12V battery. If you have a camper with a solar setup you should have plenty of power to charge.
Thanks mate. Ok, I will use my inverter for now. I ordered the Aeroo Pro combo plus 2 more batteries. Should manage easily. I usually manage to keep my heavy Swellpro drone and fridge going for 3 days of my 1300Wh battery and go home with some juice left in the battery.
Interesting video, I'm keen to see on the west coast how much weight and wind it can actually handle, I watch your videos and the part I notice is with a 1 kg payload have u seen what this drone capabale of, westcoast fishing is more than a kg, and this drone is one for a beginners introduction to drone fishing
Cheers for the comment. From my experience the west coast does not need any more payload than anywhere else. Why would it? I have fished on the West Coast North and South Island and never had to use more the my standard rig. What do you want to fly out that weights more than a kg? Even a big 8 ounce sinker only weighs about 220 gram. The Areoo drone is very beginner friendly (as in easy to use) - but it's definitely also a professional fishing drone. It has all the bells and whistles you could wish for. I personally think it's the best fishing drone you can get for right now.
I enjoy this video but I will have to say your theory on waterproof drones not coming back with errors and stuff is absolutely rubbish the fisherman Max is one of the best ones out there the payload of 3.2 kgs completely waterproof and sealed you can take off in the water and on land if there's any error or discommunication between your drone and controller it has an automatic come back to Homebase why I know this is. Is because I actually own one!
Cheers for the comment. I meant technical faults not communication errors, like if a motor fails or the drone looses power. It'll just crash. Can possibly happen to any drone. I have seen crashed and destroyed Swellpro drones. Not saying the Fisherman Max isn't a good drone. But personally I have never found the need to launch or land my drone in water. I go to the beach setup my drone fly out my baits and done. I also never found the need to use more than one 1kg payload. So for me paying 3 times as much for features I don't need would be pretty pointless. But if someone frequently wants to launch and land their drone in water then a waterproof drone would be the way to go. I'm trying to think of a scenario where I would want to do it, but can't really think of anything. Plus I would be worried that my expensive investment perhaps isn't quite as waterproof as claimed.
@Fishingreminder I would highly doubt that the fisherman Max will have errors as I have been on watch with this product for a long time including myself actually owning one even if the motor failed the GPS tracker on it including the floating pads that is clipped on to the drone will keep itself on float anyway plus has an automatic return to home if there's any discommunication or error on it plus I got a warranty on it and also repair Engineers where I live that's specialises in fixing drones
You can purchase the drone directly from Aeroo via this link: nz.aeroodrones.com/?sca_ref=7054114.CAYFUL62DuQ

Mine arrived last week. Great machine. Looking forward to settled weather to take it fishing
Awesome, you'll have lots of fun with it.
Lucky you! 👍
A great thorough review - thanks
thank you, glad it was helpful

Any updates on the drone ? Good and bad ? Great review
The drone has been fantastic so far, no problems at all. I love it.
Great review!

My Christmas present 🎁
great present - still a while to go though, haha
I'm going to fly tomorrow it's my 1st time flaying aeroo pro
nice! good luck!
nice vid guys .. could you clip on some little LED pilot lights?
thanks, yeah can't see why not. Little battery powered lights. But the downward facing led is quite good to see the drone in low light.

I'm genuinely curious. What goes on the rig and why to get to or over 1Kg? (i'm not trying to be smartass)
how are the temu rods going?
Haven't had a chance to go trout fishing yet.
OK dang 45 minutes of flight payload release and under 900usd ook
great value for sure
i have two cameras on my drone
only two??
@@Fishingreminder why how many do you have ?

40 mins of video just to find out you have to enter a lottery to "win" the CHANCE of buying one. Wake me up when you can sell these at scale.
it's like trying to buy an iPhone 16, gotta be patient :)
Found a great condition Phantom 3 Advanced on ebay for $300, I'm set.
@@SailingIndependencenice, check out AliExpress if you need more batteries. I ordered a few for my phantom 3 and they were really cheap.
