I am from Turkey and as some of you may know we are dealing with hyperinflation over few years. The main reason for hyperinflation was our central bank's late action to raise interest rates. Because of this late response right now we are in a stagflation. Rİght now US gives negative five percent on savings and still FED says inflation is not here to stay if US is late to respond I don't wanna imagine how the end result will be for my country. This isn’t going to age well, it’s obvious everything is going online and we will transact with internet money not exchanging heavy bars of gold. If you understand encryption you understand that we can transact privately and that is not the use case for bitcoin.

The problem with gold and silver is that they can send people to confiscate it (which the US has already done in the past) Bitcoin/crypto can’t be confiscated. They can shut down servers, but you can go to another country and access your account. Im bullish on crypto and a walking bear on metals.

No one asset will be able to stay private once fedcoin becomes adopted, gold silver bitcoin, stocks, as long as you convert these assets into fedcoin to buy something, you will be tracked. Actually, in China, one cannot use the digital yuan to buy PMs, which means, if the gov don't want ppl to own certain assets, they can program it into the fedcoin, may it be gold or bitcoin.

So much misinformation and generalizations. Its ok to admit you don't really know or understand a topic. There's a whole of people that could benefit from doing that. I appreciate his views on precious metals, but I lost count of all the misinformation about crypto.

A thought provoking point on face value, then you realise that any commodity or asset follows the same principle in terms of price discovery so I'd argue that your premise is wrong. You could substitute that statement like:
Precious metal markets represent wealth transfers from buyers to the sellers. They do not create tangible wealth.
Town house sales represent wealth transfers from buyers to the sellers. They do not create tangible wealth.
Rare art purchases represent wealth transfers from buyers to the sellers. They do not create tangible wealth.
If someone is prepared to pay more than you did, the value goes up, that's just how markets work. If you don't assign value to crypto/previous metals/obscure paintings - then don't buy them! But just because other people do assign value to those things doesn't make them wrong to do so.
For clarity: I don't agree with your statement, or any of those I substituted. It's also important to make distinctions between sound crypto and scam crypto. Do your own research!

Uh, the forest is made of trees. BTC and ETH are no better than any of the coins you're dismissing as shitcoins. They're effectively interchangeable and offer users the same utility.

Btc in the U.S. will never be a legal tender- of course. But in E.S., which has no sovereign currency, btc will benefit greatly. Centralized Fed coin IS NOT btc. I think people get the reality more than this man.
