I'm been very intrigued by the "zipper overlay concept". Was wondering if you need to use leather type fabric to make one? Or can the same concept be used with fabric? Looks like a great pattern and I'm definitely gonna try it. Hope someone responds to question about the zipper overlay. Also don't have a cutter/cricket tool yet either. Hi Gloria,
It is designed for fabric that doesn't fray, such as cork (my Favourite) leather or vinyl etc. You do not need a cutting machine. They just make the job quicker but a PDF template for cutting by hand works just fine. Many of my testers do them by hand. :)
