Denis had an issue with his Visa and couldn’t leave the Ukrain, so AA had to continue without him unfortunately which led to some drama. Although Denis has never made it to a second album in any of his bands he has now found the band he belongs to which consists of the OG Down & Dirty members. The band is called Drag Me Out and you should definitely check them out! Their second album should be released in the near future.

"The Black" was a really underrated album just because Denis bad attitude. Musically it was great and "Let it sleep" is one of the best AA Songs in my opinion.
I really wish Dennis would not have fucked up and left the band. I am glad Danny is back as i am a long time AA fan, but this album was the most AA they have been in a while.
Definitely agree with you on this, I listen to AA up until this album but none of the new stuff it's gone too close to just regular rock music for me which isn't what attracted me to the band, same as with Crown the Empire after Dave left the band, none of their new stuff has really been my thing since then.
@@JCollins38 I totally agree with you on that as the same with CTE the contrast they had is what made them. Only a few bands have pulled it off well. Like i get Danny you like country and did that but when your doing rock keep it rock i mean if Aaron Lewis can do it you can as well.

I saw asking alexandria live in Brisbane about 6 years ago or something with dennis on vocals. He put on such an amazing show with the band that when the encore happened we were all chanting his name for a few mins and it looked like he was so appreciative for us all in the crowd. They did a couple more songs after that and we lit it rip! Such an amazing experience! Shoes and people flying everywhere hahaha

Very true… The Black was my favorite and in my opinion strongest album for AA, just with the raw emotion and energy really revitalized the band. Unfortunately after their last two albums… Danny coming back I personally think wasn’t a good idea. Their self-album + Like a House on Fire was way too radio-friendly and just weak in my honest opinion. 😔
I’m about to see Asking Alexandria for the 11th time and hopefully meet them for the 10th time in September! I’m not the biggest fan of their most recent album because I generally like heavier metal but I have been a fan for 12 years and they were part of my identity and who my sister and I were as people for a long time! We were always the “Asking Alexandria girls” to everyone and they usually remember us when we meet them they always say “it’s the sisters again!!” Haha 💜🤘🏻💜🤘🏻
