I have tried this recipe, and OMG I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH DELICIOUS SALMON! I added some chopped onions though along with the garlic and I recommend everyone to try doing that! It adds some sweetness to the dish and it’s barely even noticeable. Highly recommended!

I agree. I grill a salmon in foil pouches on low heat in olive oil, dill, basil, salt and pepperthen make a parmesan cheese topping I broil on top right before serving and the dill just makes it pop

Definitely the best salmon I have ever tasted. The only thing I changed was avocado oil instead of olive oil. I love that its keto friendly as well. (Although i made rice with it to soak up some of the juice 😅) Im already looking forward to making it for dinner and for dinner guests! Thank you ❤❤❤

I made this dish tonight and what’s interesting is that I already make a terrific Salmon, but the sauce really took it to the next level and I put everything over linguini noodles. I’ve definitely got to give this one 5 stars!! Phenomenal recipe 👌🏾

Very good sauce, thank you! I always sauteed this way. Instead of putting cream, I used coconut cream in a can that I buy in the asian grocery store. It has more flavor than the cream. Also I added & sauteed onion with it. My husband said its 10 stars :--))

А этот рецепт заинтересовал, тк есть сливки натуральные домашние и черики, надо идти за зеленью! Эх, кто бы приготовил и пригласил к столу! А все обрезки от рыбины пойдут на уху по фински. Там тоже сливки. Когда очень хочется жареной рыбки, покупаю брикет замороженный минтай из мякоти. Белая диетическая рыбка и чистить не надо, только резать на медальоны пока подморожен брикет. В сметане с луком и картофелем - тоже очень вкусно и быстро!Люблю рыбу.

Lege doch mal all die kleinen Tomaten auf einen kleinen Teller und einen 2.oben darauf-.Und fahre dann mit dem Kochmesser, zwischen den beiden Tellern durch, so wie Du einen Tortenboden in zwei Hälften schneiden würdest.......Mit diesem Küchentrick, schneidest Du dann alle Tomätchen auf einmal, in 2 Hälften. If you guys allow some advices from a french "amateur" cook (I'm no pro 😅 but I love cooking). The most common mistake about fish is that most people have a tendency to "overcook" it. But the flesh of the fish is really delicate and an overcooked fish is ruined. That is why you should keep the skin on the salmon pieces, at least during the cooking phase, and preferably cook it on the skin side (so the flesh won't burn). If you want to snack it to give it color, you may do so but at least it is paramount that you DON'T cook both sides ! Because the salmon will continue to cook once you'll put it in the sauce and you'll end up with an overcooked fish. So the snacking needs to be lightly done and one side only should be better. Most of the salmon needs to be still raw when you put it inside the sauce to finish the cooking. If you do the cooking perfectly, its flesh will be what we call "nacrée" in french (it literally means "pearly"), to indicate that the flesh needs to be moist, soft and shiny. If the flesh has a "cotton" texture all over, it means you overcooked it 😅. Please guys, try my method and you'll enjoy it ten times more ! 😉 Cheers from France !

I am from India. I found it quite amusing to see fish cooked in cream ( milk based). We have yogurt or coconut milk based. So it was very different. But it tastes excellent, I must tell you.🎉
Anything with that much fat in it would likely taste good. but likely make you feel crappy a hour or so later, just like lots b of Indian food. The German food of the East.

Beat salmon dish I have ever cooked. Absolutely superb. This will be on the menu at least once per month when salmon is available. We had it with brocolli and new potatoes. Nothing left over!!!

I'm almost certain it's a Miyabi Birchwood SG2 7" Santoku Kife, available from the "A-Z" online store (you know who I mean) for a mere $350 US . I have a couple of Santoku knives - not of this brand though: far above my pay grade - that I wouldn't want to live without. If you haven't used a Santoku (high blade, keeps your knuckles off the cutting board) you have a lot more enjoyment to get out of food prep: just holding one and wielding it make you feel like a real chef. My advice: get a gently curved one, no more than the one in this video: too straight and you can't "roll" through the cut to complete it, and you'll find yourself sawing (like a carving knife); too curved and you're rocking too much to make a complete cut through "wide" food. Also learn how to treat your knives, including sharpening with a stone, and "raising" the edge with a steel. Treat them them more tenderly that you did your first born (well, almost as much ;-) ) and wash them immediately, return them to their packaging for storage. Invest in a quality maple or cherry cutting board - NOT polycarbonate!

Try baking the salmon in the oven instead, like we do in Sweden! It stays softer and juicier 🙂 Also, dill goes much better with salmon than parsley.

Lege doch mal all die kleinen Tomaten auf einen kleinen Teller und einen 2.oben darauf-.Und fahre dann mit dem Kochmesser, zwischen den beiden Tellern durch, so wie Du einen Tortenboden in zwei Hälften schneiden würdest.......Mit diesem Küchentrick, schneidest Du dann alle Tomätchen auf einmal, in 2 Hälften. If you guys allow some advices from a french "amateur" cook (I'm no pro 😅 but I love cooking).
The most common mistake about fish is that most people have a tendency to "overcook" it.
But the flesh of the fish is really delicate and an overcooked fish is ruined.
That is why you should keep the skin on the salmon pieces, at least during the cooking phase, and preferably cook it on the skin side (so the flesh won't burn).
If you want to snack it to give it color, you may do so but at least it is paramount that you DON'T cook both sides ! Because the salmon will continue to cook once you'll put it in the sauce and you'll end up with an overcooked fish. So the snacking needs to be lightly done and one side only should be better. Most of the salmon needs to be still raw when you put it inside the sauce to finish the cooking.
If you do the cooking perfectly, its flesh will be what we call "nacrée" in french (it literally means "pearly"), to indicate that the flesh needs to be moist, soft and shiny.
If the flesh has a "cotton" texture all over, it means you overcooked it 😅.
Please guys, try my method and you'll enjoy it ten times more ! 😉

I am from India. I found it quite amusing to see fish cooked in cream ( milk based). We have yogurt or coconut milk based. So it was very different. But it tastes excellent, I must tell you.🎉
Anything with that much fat in it would likely taste good. but likely make you feel crappy a hour or so later, just like lots b of Indian food. The German food of the East.

Beat salmon dish I have ever cooked. Absolutely superb. This will be on the menu at least once per month when salmon is available. We had it with brocolli and new potatoes. Nothing left over!!!

I'm almost certain it's a Miyabi Birchwood SG2 7" Santoku Kife, available from the "A-Z" online store (you know who I mean) for a mere $350 US . I have a couple of Santoku knives - not of this brand though: far above my pay grade - that I wouldn't want to live without. If you haven't used a Santoku (high blade, keeps your knuckles off the cutting board) you have a lot more enjoyment to get out of food prep: just holding one and wielding it make you feel like a real chef.
My advice: get a gently curved one, no more than the one in this video: too straight and you can't "roll" through the cut to complete it, and you'll find yourself sawing (like a carving knife); too curved and you're rocking too much to make a complete cut through "wide" food. Also learn how to treat your knives, including sharpening with a stone, and "raising" the edge with a steel. Treat them them more tenderly that you did your first born (well, almost as much ;-) ) and wash them immediately, return them to their packaging for storage. Invest in a quality maple or cherry cutting board - NOT polycarbonate!
