Thank you! Took me about a day to design my first PCB ever, and a few more days to add more features and refine. I just ordered my fiirst PCB, thank yoU!!!

You can get fritzing for free, even on the official site. The donation is an option, not a requirement.

I created this video a while ago and at the time I struggled to get the app for free on the official site. But maybe I just have nit looked hard enough

@@marios_ideas You just need to hit the download button disregarding the request for donation. It will work.

You should avoid 90* degrees tracks if I remember correctly

Great intro to Fritzing, thanks. Btw, in your project, where do you put holes to have 12V power? I couldn't find it in your schematic or board.

Not sure why you wanted to see 12V. This module is powered by Arduino 5v pin

Pls make a video how to we demonstrate live simulation using fritzing in presentation like tinercad

Thanks for the video, I am making a project although have great issues with the final pcb, error after error. Its only basic but I don't understand why automation adds errors. 4 hours i have spent to no avail.

When the project is more complex autorouting is probably not the most smart idea. I lay the tracks myself.

@@marios_ideas thank you i tried that too lol i do have a overlap error on bottom layer on my ic chip and nano board on top layer not the traces. Im such a beginner this is my first one i

    In this tutorial
You have taken a print of PCB layout
    How you resize?
the actual PCB pdf has larger layout

    • @marios_ideas
      @marios_ideas  2 ปีที่แล้ว

If you select the pcb and go to inspector you see a number of options. If you scroll down you will see Width and Hight

    Have you ever tried autoroute?

I have not. Is it better? I will check it out when I have a moment :)

@@marios_ideas Try it. It greatly simplifies the design of a PCB. It does most of the work for you.

Mind you this is just a simple design to show how to create the PCB. If you check the follow up to this video th-cam.com/video/ov1rs-MPe1Q/w-d-xo.html there you will see how I connect this custom PCB to Arduino , or even daisy chain few of them. You can also check one more project of mine which involves custom built 7 seg display using Custom built PCB. In this project there I have a slot for Arduino on the PCB th-cam.com/video/ux3cpw0nHo4/w-d-xo.html

The hardest part of this process is waiting for the PCB to arrive...

This video did not have any code. Did you mean a diufferent video perhaps.
