A couple things:
* Powerwall 3 has six MPPT inputs for solar, not four.
* Why no mention of being able to add 40.5kWh of additional battery packs to a Powerwall 3. (Apparently not available now, but coming soon.)
Is that "coming soon" like full-self driving and the Tesla Roadster that was first announced in 2017 and allegedly coming in 2020 and now set for 2026?
NEM 2.0 may be kept if you ONLY add BATTERY. If you add more than 1.0kW solar, you will lose your NEM status. This is the rule for the California IOU utilities PG&E, SCE, SDG&E.

Hi there, Mike here from Florida. I have a question about the built-in inverter. Most solar systems use Enphase inverters, and the PowerWall 3 will not work with Enphase inverters. Does this mean that if I install a new solar system, I will have to use a string inverter set-up? Also, will I need DC optimizers to make this work? Thanks!
Excellent info and discussion! I'm waiting to purchase an EV until bidirectional charging is available. Cybertruck has it, but there is a multi year wait to get one. I'd love to have a model 3 or Y that I can charge from the sun, and also use to power my home after the sun goes down (in combination with powerwalls). Elon has guided for 2025 for that capability to be in all Teslas.

Yeah, you can tell the microphones in front of them aren’t live. The camera’s microphone is picking up this audio, hence the poor quality
You need to treat your room to acoustic treatment almost unintelligible
Appreciate the feedback. I have also noticed that TH-cam Live seems to affect the quality. We will work to improve.

Regarding sound are you sure the mic’s were live? This sounds like the audio was captured by the camera’s microphone instead of the ones in front of you. If the mics were live and the camera’s mic was turned off, then the mic software tuning should make it a lot better.
Tesla powerwall 3 is not flexible since it will work in new installations only.
It doesn’t work for retrofitting previously installed solar systems with inverters.
It should have the capability to be DC and AC if needed.
The latest word from Tesla is that those configurations will be supported in the future.

I have powerwall 2 and adding a PWS 3 would be cool.
Actually it does work with other inverters, etc.
