I'd like to see a direct comparison between the Talion (and maybe the kraton), the sledge? And the machete. There's tons of videos of the mechanical differences, but I think if there were a l game of "HORSE" between the 3, you could really get down to the strengths, weaknesses, performance of each rc through a series tests. It may be exactly what people need to see to have some more faith in Redcat and see if there's an actual savings or value in getting one over the other 2.
Seems like the machete's big wide tires are hooking well, low rolling resistance from a good radius and a wide stance will help it float on the sand rather than dig in, so it will drift rather than bite, good comparison!
The Machete gets it for me, boy that handles sooo good. Pretty good for one handed driving dude. That's gonna be my next challenge to drive my bashers one handed, i can already do it with my crawlers which i got inspiration from you. 💪👍😁

I bought a machete not that long ago and I'm swapping a 6s system and bigger motor in it tonight and I'll report back and give my opinion owning the 2. Early opinion is it will be hard to top the mojave but I think both are different and awesome in their own way. Have you grabbed a machete yet? The thing is pretty impressive in person and I scored the 4s version on that sale for $299....Crazy deal to pass up.
I absolutely love my Machete 6s... until I locked the center diff, did a 54mph run and it ate the spur gear up after 3 solid runs! Back to 1 Million diff oil, lol
The only drawback about the machete is that you can't add a hobbywing or castle1650 motor to it like you could with the Mojave. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the speed control at the end of motor keeping you even cutting out part of the chassis to even fit a bigger motor?...bad design flaw

My current 2 favorite brands. Both companies been killing it with new releases the last year or so and both have been taking thousands of my dollars.
