Thank you for sharing thins information. This will make custom monograms so much easier. Keep up the good work.
Thanks. The designer Andrew is really cool too. Always trying to make improvements
Thank you for this. What kind of material you are using when using a laser? Plywood 1/8 what else??
I use 1/4 inch ply and 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch acrylic when making monograms. I have also engraved on glass, slate, and faux leather too!
Thanks for sharing, that was awesome!! Which GF do u have?
Sorry! Just saw this! If have the Glowforge Basic and love it!
I am a little confused about how to add it to my glowforge to cut, when I send it to my screen it appears different I am guessing there is some other steps I need to take.
Did you export as an svg? If so, should upload to the forge pretty easily. You may need to change from a cut to engrave or visa versa though.
@@LaserAndLearn I am such a newbie so do I need to open it in a program and save as a svg
@@loriwilliams2393 yes, export as an svg and upload to glowforge and it should work then. Svgs are what are needed in order to cut
Can you send it strait to the Glowforge or do you need to send to inkscape first.
You can download it as it as an svg and send it right to the Glowforge!!
@@LaserAndLearn Thank you !!
