@@_Ricky maybe if you stop being racist and ignorant about other races/ countnries, then more airlines will let you fly for free to review their service.
At first I was thinking the same when people bash airlines from the US, but as I compare to most other worldwide airlines, most airlines from the US are not the best especially with matching prices compared to other airlines that are supposed to be from the same class.
Thanks for this video. My daughter and I are about to travel from NYC to Sydney on Delta One, and I happen to be in the same seat assignment as yours, while my daughter is across the aisle. It was fun to look at this together
Delta One is a highly enjoyable experience that I would recommend if you have the disposable cash. You are paying for better space, better service and for better food. I did not want to get off the plane, which could not be said for when I travel coach. While it does not hit the mark of Cathay or Emirates, I give Delta business very high ratings overall.
Was fortunate to be able to splurge on a Business Class upgrade with my recent trip to London and I thought it was worth it just for the experience alone. Upgrade price was ($630) for the suites.
You should try some of my favorite non-stop long-haul business/first routes: UA ORD > HKG (among the longest flights by time in the world), LH FRA > DEN, ET LAX > ADD.
Love the videos Ricky. Just want to point out that while this is a newer Delta One cabin, I don't think it is Delta One Suites. The suites have a half wall with a closable sliding door.
Nice quick video, Delta is a good product but I find them to cost more than American and United. The food is usually always good except for breakfast. Cool video as always.
Because they don't have to try very hard, so they don't. They know the cabins will always be full because elites and people chasing status will tolerate an inferior soft product. The reviewer keeps taking shots at the US, but Delta One will be far superior to anything Air Canada or British Airways is offering these days over the Atlantic.
@@Eyob797 American carriers have no issues with attracting passengers as they're primarily targeting NA passengers where they dominate the market. If they needed to attract passengers maybe we would see an improvement.
I mean the US invented the business model of luxury commercial flights. But it also is the country that had to prove the viability of commercial airlines through their early years and as such has had many accidents leading to hefty regulations, leading to repeated disinvestments by the government, leading to many huge airlines going under and the market being a shadow of its former self, leading to a generally pessimistic view of airlines and therefore an industry that has to nickel and dime to stay alive.
Ricky, i watched a few of your videos and was wondering how long it takes you to rack up the miles needed for some of your excursions. I understand there are sign up bonuses, you get points from regular purchases. How are you able to keep enough points to keep using them? I'll play devil's advocate, the US carriers do pale compared to their Asian and many European counterparts. Depends on the service, but I think the US has made strides. That said, compared to Air Canada, they are very similar to the U.S. legacy carriers. Not trying to defend everything the U.S. airlines have done, but I've flown United from Chicago to Hong Kong when they had that route. It was surprisingly solid for both flights. Is it better than ANA nearby in Japan, or Cathay? I doubt it, but not a horror show compared to the past.
