Yep, sadly, the key is to not give those guys any of your time. Not even a single second, of video, of thought, of care. Just act as though they don't even exist. At the end of the day they really don't matter. Their negativity outweighs any of their contributions to the scene, and that just isn't worth it for ANYONE. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
This is baffling to me. They say they using mame source for cps3 yet groovymame is available now for cps3 with same input lag as pcb. Actually can't recall seeing any news on this channel about the monthly new mame releases. The mame developers happinly working away on their hobby getting no patreon funds in contrast to mister core devs coining it from standing the on the back of previous mame dev hard work. Am I wrong?

I hope the Coin-Op Collection folks read these comments. I respect their work and have considered supporting them. I really wanted to, but their sophomoric attitudes turned me off. This week convinced me not to support them, and it's such a shame. I honestly looked forward to the MARS project and all of their efforts.

Yea, I think they did everyone a favor by splitting off to their own group. I don't care how skilled as developer they may be in a small, niche scene, those 2 alone have completely turned me off from ever supporting any product or patreon they're a part of.
Now you have me curious how the pocket will perform on the Checkmate monitor since it has several HDMI inputs. I'll have to try it when mine comes in. Hoping by over the Thanksgiving holidays!

Short off topic question: In the MiSTer menu, when I put thousands of roms in ONE folder (like for NES), can I use DPAD-RIGHT or shoulder buttons to quickly browse the list and jump between pages or even starting letters?

How the hell do they have the right to make copy-right claims on mere opinions and footage of old arcade games? Surely TH-cam will agree with your appeals?
I brought mine yday, as for the first time it's in stock, I didn't realize the Analogue Pocket was only £160 in pounds, CEX are charging £350 for a second hand one, so it cost me £160 for a new one versus £350 for a second hand one, I am usually fine buying 2nd hand consoles, but not for over twice the price.
