Sea levels rise at about 3-4cm each decade, so you're talking 8cm at most for 20 years. Sea level rise is nothing new - it's an interglacial event that has been recorded from before the industrial revolution.
I agree with the fact you're involving but you should have said it properly. Indeed, the global warming tends to rise up the sea, which will lead the road to be sunk more often and/or by more water. But your number seems pretty exaggerated to me, even though I'm not a specialist and I might not be right 😉

First off, why don’t they just build the road higher? Next, I imagine you can’t even see the road anymore when it’s a little underwater. So if there’s a huge rock or big hole, you’re kinda screwed. I know there’s poles that stick out on the sides but that doesn’t even really help bc they’re so far apart. Whoever built that road must have intended it as a joke. There's a bridge 5 kilometers down the road. This road is a monument. The road was created by reverse currents that meet there and deposited sand. There is the schedule of the tides indicated, there is the right to cross between 1h30 before and after the tide. If the tide is at 4pm you can cross from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
First, it's old as hell. It's pretty much historical in the region. Second, think about it. Building a high enough road on a side where the sea covers the area half the day ...Back in the day not everyone could pull off a bridge out of their asses like that. It costs a bit. Third... If you took any moment to actually search, you would know there is another bridge most people uses everyday instead of it to go through.
I've driven this. So scary. I only did it once, after that I made my husband drive the long way around. The thought of getting stuck there is a nightmare.

They don’t want ppl getting stuck, so just build it above the freaking tide to begin with. Kinda stupid tbh.

It was constructed to prevent traffic passing over at high tide. Otherwise they would drown.
