OBS F-150 custom exhaust

Today i put on a all new exhaust system on my 1992 ford flareside with a stock 5.8 and e4od trans.
Scourced my exhaust pipe and muffler from jegs. 4 inch dynamax race muffler with a 3 inch reducer on each end. 3inch exhaust the rest of the way back to the exhaust tips. Headers were bought used and are a stainless steel longtube design.

I hope my flareside turns out half as nice as yours this summer when I get to work on it. Going to do a 5.0 swap, paint it satin black and buy some bronze rims with the thicker tires. Then I still have a bunch of small things to do to the interior and such.

From the mid pipe down..where the 2 exhaust headers connect to one…do you sell or take orders for them? Looking to do the same thing with the side exit

I only made the one for this truck. Any exhaust shop can make one for you, just be clear where you want everything routed. Or you can make your own with a universal exhaust pipe kit if you have the time and a welder.

Where did you get the f150 fender emblem? Does it light up? Nice truck

They're from GoRecon and are for a 2010 f150. They change between 4 colors

Did you have to tune it after the headers?

I did not tune it since the engine is relatively stock.

@@benjaminhernadez973 no problems or light on. Only issue I came across was one of the headers was close to the frame and I had to make room so it wouldn't rub.

They're a factory option. You can find them used or in junkyards. Usually the brackets rust out but broncograveyard.com sells new brackets.
