Steven, I remember a while ago you were stressing about something but couldn't or wouldn't let us know. That's when I realized you were attending more meetings. I'm so glad the meetings are there for you to enjoy. We all are so proud of your sobriety because it has made you such a loving and caring person.
Steven, this was an important vlog. The two seminal answers you gave to why you go to ‘so many’ meetings are, first, going makes you feel good, and, second, going is so satisfying. You can never go to too many meetings. Your friends there know you in ways no one else can ever know you. And, if I may suggest this - should you progress with Jim, the best thing in the works is to invite him to go with you to a meeting. It is the best way to get to know you by sharing that. Enjoy Christmas Eve and Christmas in the air my friend. Herman
Your home group, as well as the random meetings you pop in on are so lucky to have you~~ 🤗 I love that term the group uses for their anonymous Q&A.. "Ask it Basket" 🥰 ..Enjoy your time with the kitties before you zoom off tomorrow! ✈ xoxo
Love the bicycles for kids!! I'm glad that you're going to meetings again. It concerned me that you weren't going because they serve an important purpose for addicts. Being part of a group is so beneficial, too. It's wonderful that you are still open to change and grow. Not everyone is.
It’s great you like to go to meetings. It seems like a nice way to get yourself a good start for the day with inspiration. I sometimes wished there was a group a person could go to who feels alittle down & somewhat depressed that day. To visit & get a inspiration for that day. Maybe there is in bigger cities. That’s so great that they had kids picking a bike out for the Christmas season. Bless those people who arranged it & people who donated to a great cause. Around this time of the holidays I always think of the homeless & also the kids who won’t have a good Christmas. Enough of sad stuff. Your kitties are so adorable. Give them a hug for me. Have a awesome day! 👍✌️😊💚🐈⬛🐈🤗
So happy you enjoy your meetings so much and you get food too. Food for the soul and the belly. Yes, I noticed you've been going to more meetings, but you seem so happy when you come out, I'm glad for you. You are a good person, Steven.
Steven, you've accomplished what no one in over fifty years has been able to do. By the time I was a six-year-old child, my brother, who's fourteen years older than me, was already married. He and his wife, Debbie, had a Siamese cat named Shekon. And for whatever reason, that cat hated children, and I guess for that reason, anytime I'd walk into their home, she would immediately attack me, biting and scratching me like crazy. Having many dog pets throughout my childhood, I wanted this cat to like me like my dogs did, but it was a no-go with me or any other child. So much so, that Shekon had to be rehomed after my brother and sister-in-law had a baby. From that point on, I was completely paranoid of all cats, absolutely terrified, well into my older adulthood. I'm now fifty-six. It was not until I started watching your channel, way back when I believe it was Buddy whom you were feeding in the parking lot of your apartment. Watching you with Clair, Eleanor, and Buddy, and the love between you, especially through the time of you needing to humanely put Clair to sleep and the immense grief that followed, I was able to allow my niece to introduce me to her then-baby kitten, who's a beautiful snow-white Persian cat. This cat is so loving and always wants to be petted and snuggled. I, however, do not believe I could have made that step forward had I not, over and over, watched what a loving and healthy relationship between a cat dad and his cats looked like. Thank you! You never know how much impact your blogs are having on audience members. 💞 Merry Christmas and the best of New Years.
That's amazing! I'm sorry you had such a traumatic relationship with that first cat. I'm glad you met a cat that opened your heart to them. I can't imagine my life without my cats. They bring me such happiness!
Hi Steven, due to circumstances I haven't followed you for a long time, but I hope to do so regularly again. I have a question: Did the girl who kicked the drug habit and therefore found a place to live and did a friend still have her channel?? Can't find her? So I'm afraid... Nice to be back...
I stopped following her when she started making some choices that seem sort of dangerous. I couldn't bring myself to watch what could have happened. I have an idea what would have happened to me had I made the choice issue is making. It's her program, she can do what she wants, but I just couldn't watch the rest. But now you have me curious.
❤❤❤
Peace, love and joy for this Christmas time and blessings for a fabulous new year!

Hi Steven- this is a great vlog. It's interesting to me to find out a little more about AA meetings. Thanks for making this vlog.

I've always wondered how normal people get through their days. Especially the rough ones.
