Definitely the comeback player of the year, once he got traded to the 49ers his talent got utilized on a whole different level under Kyle's system, had a beasty season with the 49ers!!!
He averaged 110 scrimmage yards per game in SF. He averaged 112 yards per game in Carolina. They just weren't on TV as much.
@@atgdcommish608 Well, SF has many weapons. CMC was the Panther's only offensive weapon, hence he had a much larger workload out in Carolina.
Shanahan has proven he can run the ball with whoever in the backfield.. CMC while good, he hasn't been the best RB in Shanahan's system in SF.. That'd be Mostert.. Who, when healthy, can take it all the way at any given moment.. And when you factor in his salary.. it's an absolute bargain..
So do NOT be surprised if CMC is traded at any point considering the ROI Shanahan gets with just about anyone.. He might as well keep the platoons going like he did with Mostert, Breda, Coleman, Jeff Wilson Jr.. Shanahan knows which RB's fit his scheme.. So if push comes to shove and someone has to go in order to sign/keep one of their other studs, CMC will net the most return while being the easiest production to replace in Shanahan's offense.

what an amazing acquisition. The TD in the NFCCG almost brought me to tears, in a game that was looking lost he just would not die, put the whole team on his back and gave us a brief glimmer of hope. Hopefully the Niners will get him the ring he deserves.

As a Panthers fan, I’ll always love CMC
He was always my favorite non-49er player. I couldn't believe it when we got him.
As complete a player as there is in the league. He can fly (0:02).... he can accelerate (0:48).... he can make you miss (1:37)... he can catch in traffic (1:50)... he can find the running lane (2:15).... he can turn an outlet pass into a big gain (3:29)... he can throw (4:13)... he can improvise (5:18).... he can play wide receiver (9:20)... he can run away and leave you in the dust (9:59)... he can power into the endzone in short yardage (11:02)... he can make you pay if you don't wrap him up (12:02)... he can outrun you (12:58)... and he can run you over (14:23).
The most complete running back the NFL has seen since Marshall Faulk. To quote Patrick Peterson: “That boy CMC is different”.
@@TheRealElJugo L.Bell had some good seasons in Pitt.. about the same length as CMC.. And if Mostert wasn't made of glass, no need to get CMC.. Mostert can break it at any point.. CMC doesn't have that speed (see 1st qtr vs seattle in the playoffs)..
@@dre32pitt CMC is a beast! I would take him over any RB in the league he finds gaps and once he finds a gap he gains 30-40 yds easy, one of the best rb in the league today in my personal opinion ofc
@@BaM_BaM5420 It would depend on the salaries, who else do I have at RB.. What kind of offense am I running.. Soo many variables.. Shanahan has proven he can avg around 5ypc with just about anyone in the backfield.. CMC is definitely a special back, but I'd argue that Mostert's been the most effective RB in Shanahan's system in SF... When healthy.. lol.. For the $$, he's an absolute weapon.. when healthy, lol.. Hopefully CMC (Touchdown Factory) can stay on the field. Should help with Mitchell taking some carries.. and of course the jet sweeps with Deebo and Ayuik
@@dre32pitt Yeah, Mostert and CMC are both GREAT rb, I love them both they’re both offensive weapons, and Shanahan’s coaching plays a big factor in their play style and what they can do(except for Mostert now that he’s on Miami dolphins), but I just think in my personal opinion CMC is just a little bit better than Mostert, but I can’t lie I’m just being a little biased because I’ve watched all of CMC’s highlights and I love the way he plays, but Mostert is a great rb as well when healthy, and I’m just looking forward to seeing what will become of 9ers next year. How many yards will CMC get? Will Purdy be starting qb? These are questions I have and can’t wait to see what will become of 9ers next year, when there all healthy lol 😂
McCaffrey is still the same, if not an even better RB now, that went for 1,400 rushing yards, 1,005 receiving yards and 19 total TDs back in 2019 all in one season! He proved again this year that he is the best RB in the league!

@@tevaunlewis8621 look up his stats bro. This year yeah 1900 yards rushing and receiving over 1000 rushing over 800 receiving along with 13 touchdowns with two different teams. When he is injury free, he puts up huge numbers every year.

That was one year? yeah he went over 1000 rushing and 1000 receiving once in one year but has gone over 1000 yards rushing with over 800 yards receiving multiple times in his career. Strength, acceleration, top end speed, vision, deadly moves, receiver hands, leg drive, change of direction, incredible body control and - magnificent competitiveness. Such a pleasure to watch, and the next 3-4 years in the same system should be a marvel to behold.

What a comeback year for CMC, can’t wait to see how good he’ll be next year after a full offseason in the Niners system.

McCaffery so SO SAVAGE! As a Stanford fan I feel like I took him for granted. This dude is the real deal. So loving watching him on my Niners. He was missing piece that got them to the NFC Championship. Excited for next year.

I’m excited to see what he will develop into no way Shanahan passes on him. We’re really in a pickle at quarterback lol I’d give Purdy a shot and mix in lance ever so often. As a 15ish year Niner fan I long to see us finally win. 2019 was was a hell of a year. I see the Niners 100% either making the nfc championship again or making the Superbowl l. Just wish we weren’t so damn injury prone. We’ll be Faithful we’ll be back.

@@TheRealElJugo I loved watching Marshall play, and yes, he is the best all around back in league history. CMC brings these same elements to the game as Faulk did.
Barring serious injury he has a good chance of being the all time yards from scimmage leader in the NFL. He has shown that he will return from minor injuries 100% and stays in perfect shape enough to not lose a step - unlike other RBs - ie Zeke. I predict he will be the all time leader by career end.

As a panthers fan, yes I was sad to see McCaffrey go, but...McCaffrey settled in so well to the 49ers scheme.

An amazing season (what a bad Pro bowl snub by the coaches & players).
But I hope he is used less next season; don't want this becoming Carolina 2.0. J Mason and E Mitchell (when healthy) make it a 3 headed running monster. Plus all their YAC receivers like Samuel, Kittle & Aiyuk.
