I think he still ended on a great note, tbh. The game came down to a field goal due to them knowing he could easily drive the ball down the field again, if they didn't burn the clock and take the kick. That's pretty crazy to be able to do against the other best team to make it to the bowl.
He'll even improve the next season because he's a humble pure discipline QB. That's what I love about him!!

@@neetrab i think just a similar playcalling scheme is fine. Staying aggressive and running Jalen when needed. If we maintain a solid o-line, the offense will remain unstoppable. Jalen will only get better, which is insane to think about
@@neetrab honestly I'm not too worried about Steichen, because Philly will probably promote Brian Johnson to OC, and a lot of sources have said all year that he's more responsible for Hurts' success than anyone, besides Jalen himself obviously. We shall see if Brian can call plays, I believe he can though, he's known around the league as the "hottest" non coordinator rn, people predict he'll become a HC eventually.

That was the "I'm hellbent on getting the Titans GM fired" throw. Look at the routes: that play was designed for DeVonta Smith (he was wide open), but Hurts decided to throw to AJ Brown despite AJ being blanketed.

Greatest season any QB has ever had in Philadelphia Eagles history. I understand some may want to point out seasons guys like Carson Wentz, Randall Cunningham, Nick Foles, Donovan McNabb, etc have had. And I get it. Some of them may have had more impressive stats. But as a third-generation Eagles season ticket holder who has been to all but 7 home games since 1986, there has never been an Eagles QB who did what Jalen did this year. The consistency. The unceasing desire to improve. The work ethic. The leadership. The off the charts football IQ. The humility. The clutch Super Bowl performance..
He is truly unmatched. I feel truly lucky and privileged to watch him play for our city.

Ya he’s a beast but more comparable to Josh Allen. A great passer that can run too. Not like Lamar who is run first and throws when he needs to.

But I agree with you Lamar is a great qb who gets disrespected a lot for being an mvp and having one of the highest win pct of any qb in the nfl since he started, and when he started with Baltimore they were 4-6

As a lifetime Eagle fan I am happy to say I was DEAD wrong about this kid. Its been a real pleasure watching him grow and become the leader he has become. Cant wait to see what hes got for us in the coming years.
Alot of people have doubted jalen. And alot of people have been proven wrong by him and I would know because I'm one of them. I'm a die hard bama fan and when tua cane on the seen I was all for him taking over. I didn't think jalen had the arm talent to carry us. Jalen was loyal and didn't transfer out the next year and sat behind tua and just perfected his craft. We were down in the sec championship game that year and tua got hurt and I thought we were done when jalen came in the game. Jalen came in and lit georgia up with dime after dime passes and put the team on his back and brought us back to win the game. Ive never been so wrong about a player in all my life. He's a stud of a player and he's a loyal, real, down to earth, and just solid human being. Philly is so fortunate to have this guy.

He made such a huge leap in his second full season and you can't fault him for losing the SB when the defense couldn't force a single punt or turnover after halftime.
