    MCN production checklist:
    1. Two blokes.
    2. Two bikes.
    3. One mobile phone.
    4. Job done.
    Production budget total spend = £9.99 giffgaff pay as you go...

    Several friends I ride with have ST1300s, and my Kawasaki C14 pretty much spanks their bikes at will. Honda makes a very nice sport tourer, as does Yamaha (FJR)- but frankly-- this video puts the two best in class head to head. Nice to see Kawasaki get a positive review. Anyone who buys the Kawi over the BMW will have plenty money left in their pocket to personalize it to their taste.

    they have a littl'e bit wrong about traction controll, The BMW does have it, called ASC and work simillar like the Kawasaki. The BMW also have the lovley ESA to adjust the suspension electronic: Comfort, normal, sport, and your preload. They don't say anything about that.

      @@rickdeskis How many km / miles have you ridden all these years? . Mine has 50t km and seems a bit much to me, but i guess this bike can easily make 100t km if maintaining right

      @rickdeskis 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Killswitch-ON Not as many as I would like. I have 50K miles (80K KM) on it now. A few years ago I bought a second bike that I rode a lot so I didn't ride it as much. I am retiring in a few months so I'll have a little more time to ride both bikes and travel. Still looks and runs like new.

  • @turbo311

    Interesting the Kawi was picked here when more recent reviews involving these and other bikes picked the BMW first and the Kawi usually last or near last.

  • @techo61
    @techo61 11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    @Andrew, why not take the BMW with traction control, you ask. Price! OK, so even if they included a BMW with TC in this comparo so we could see apples compared to apples as you say, they missed explaning the price differences. To make a fair apples/apples comparo between different makes is only possible based on price. Price will always be the only thing buyers can adjust and lets face it, the OEMs places the product into price brackets, not options brackets.

    I've always loved the Kawa GTR but my issue is, being only 5'8 and the bike weighing 300kg. Not sure whether it would be too big for me? I own a suzuki M800 atm, which weighs 249kg, it doesn't feel heavy, but centre of gravity is different on cruisers

    • @MaverickAus
      @MaverickAus 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I test rode a GTR, I'm 5'7" and had no issue with the weight. Yes it's heavy at a standstill but it has a low seat height and as soon you start moving the weight is not noticeable
