      That’s right Keith. It can be done, it just depends on a person, and how he can manage the travel expenses.

      Thank you Reuel. I am in Korat this time. I had applied for a job, but didn't get the part after the interview. As for the trip, I guess it can be done only in a car as a trio.

      @@ReuelGonsalvez How is it going over there in Dubai. Here is job season in Thailand. I don't want to look for much, it was just a job that I applied for randomly but it's fine that I didn't get the part.

      @@annandsaminthailand here there are lots of openings but since I am in banking and finance field it narrows the options available in my field for me. What field are you looking into in Thailand.

    Thanks for sharing Sam, nice to know the cost. Was good to see some alternative areas we may visit one day. We'll be over in November, so hopefully we'll be in the area long enough to catch up. Will keep in touch...

      Thank you Bruce. Happy to finish the trip, and keep it within the budget. Right, the scooter held up during the trip which is good.

      @@brucewayne2773 Right Bruce, oil cost like 70 baht with is like 2 USD if someone wants to change it themselves. And you will be surprised to know that a tyre for this scooter costs only 300 baht which is less than 10 USD.

    Fantastic done..... you proven it can be done dead cheap.
    Must say that i love to ride like this using budget accommodation but in average accommodation ends up 450-500 thb/night.... need to say i do prefer airco.
    Food is the easiest part.... and you eat at home as you eat on the road.
    Tickets are bit more expensive for us foreigners but then again, if excessively priced i skip; plenty sightseeing available without costs.
    Fuel depends on the bike....
    Think your trip proves a long trip can be made for less than 1000 thb/day.... thank you for sharing

    • @annandsaminthailand
      @annandsaminthailand  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s right man, definable in most cities it was easier for me to find Aircon room for 350+ baht. Some had even for 300 (Like Loei, korat was 350 and huge room) so, yes it is not expensive.
      Sure, food is personal cost. How much a person spends depends on them.
      Right 1000 thb/day is a comfortable budget for a person for the trip.

    Fantastic video. Good information. You proved people wrong. Just think. Your transportation was your biggest expense. How many times did you eat per day. Not counting your sweets lol. You will not only tell junior about this trip. You can show him. One day he will duplicate your trip. How will it look then

    • @annandsaminthailand
      @annandsaminthailand  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's right Phillip. Transportation was expensive. Three times mostly, I cooked some days. So, I guess it also reduced the expenses. Yes, sweets were there too 555. Yes, he can easily do it if he wish to do so. He is 3 years old already. Only 15 years before he can go around Thailand on a bike or a car. Children do grow up quickly so 15 years ain't much.
