Great summary of the trip, I love my gen 3 ZR2! Can’t wait to get off road with it, 9k long highway miles on it but nothing in the dirt yet.

Nice trip! Those long puddle runs are terrifying though. Never know what is under there... big rocks, giant ruts, suddenly 5 foot deep water or whatever, you can't SEE whats there. Since you run solo a lot, I would recommend your first upgrade be a new front bumper with a winch :) The AEV bumper that comes stock on a Bison has a winch mount so that's an option and it should bolt right up to the frame when you take the original bumper off. There are some nice aftermarket options for the ZR2 as well. I saw at least one with a short bar that protects the front grill somewhat.
Keep up the videos. I like seeing a bit of Alaska. I live in Michigan and Alaska is a LONG way from here so my ZR2 will probably never see any of those trails.

Awesome vid! Would like to hit some trails while I’m up here in Anchorage! Just waiting to, at minimum, upgrade my suspension and get underbody protection on my 3d gen AT4 so I can do all the adventuring also!

Great video!! Really amazing place! I am waiting for my ZR2 next month. But I have a question. How does it feel the turbo lag? How confortable do you think it is on road? Thanks in advance

Thank you! It is beautiful. Congratulations, what color did you get? I’ll be honest, the turbo lag does take some getting used to. The best way I can describe it is like a rubber band, it starts off “stretchy” but gets taught really fast. There’s a noticeable delay though. As for comfort remember I’m used to a Jeep, but in my opinion A+, it has such a good road feel. It’s so connected and it is always exactly where you want it to be. Super fun drive, very comfortable. You’ll be happy, guaranteed.
