Well I guess the question is what the hell does knowing your jumpshot mean ?! I’m hitting 100 shots in a row in my court then come to rec and I done built a damn brick wall 😂😂
mycourt doesent have online sliders / shot timings. you get a pretty consistent smooth shot timing in mycourt aswell as it being pretty much on rookie. in park/rec , etc. you get thousands of shot timings and its less smooth. + being on a harder difficulty makes it way different then shooting in mycourt.
When you get to my court, pull up your friends list and connect to their server. Now you get to shoot in my court with the same lag as in the games. Helped me a bunch getting a better shooter

the reason i think people can't shoot is because the visual cues don't match what they're supposed to be. I'm shooting between push and release but the visual cue seems to be where it should be for set point. Makes no sense to me, if i shoot where it should be visually for push (or a little further) which is how i have it set up, it says late or slightly late every time.

@KingCyrx yeah i tried release and tried releasing it when it's about to leave my hand, and it was late every time.
yeah that new custom cue shit is fried. i use a certain players base jump shot from the shop and the cues actually line up now. been shooting great since the game dropped.
We literally already know why we cant shoot the 2k devs literally said theres a smaller green window for square button shooter and a bigger one for rythym shooting, i have a 70 3pt and coulndt shoot at all when the game first came out and once i found out about rythm shooting i feel like i have a 95 3 i green 75% of my shots with a 70 3 its a skill gap between shooting and i love it
I don't understand, why learn your visual cue when you know it's gonna change with delay, and after the 4th shot
cause the timings as you can from the photo all bounce and range. there’s a million different timings , there’s only 1 visual cue. the cue may move but mastering it is the way to consistently shoot. unless you want to master a million different timings off muscle memory. either way it’s unfortunate shooting has so many different adjustments and such now compared to the old days.
You cant master it thats why there are so many diff timings tgey dont want you too

The latency in this game needs to be address. I realized yesterday how behind my actions are compared to the screen. Everything is a pre-action instead of a reaction. Basketball is a reaction game, really need to be fixed asap.
first week of the game I tried this normal and rhythm shooting tactic and was hitting excellent timing and slightly’s on the push timing and was hitting majority of the shots but I moved on to high risk because I wasn’t tryna be relied on hitting whites

J hardy. honestly the smoothest cue with release Ive felt with any jumpshot. but that’s just my personal preference.

There is a pure green window but it’s not based off timing it’s based off your visual cue
pure green window means if timed correctly the game would never make you miss. this game even when timed perfectly will make you miss. mike wang said this game is programmed to have people shooting realistic percentages. it’s not designed for people to be shooting 70%+. which means they make people miss perfectly timed shots on occasion to balance it out.
@@HAUNTINGx nah pure green window is there it just moves, the point on your release to green is on every shot just isn’t the same timing every time. Green window doesn’t have to mean timing that’s just what we are used to. We can just agree to disagree I guess
