Whats the 3pt rating on the build u use to test it? I'm shooting 50% on high risk but my 3pt rating is only 80 (without mid-range to boost badges). I assume it's better than shooting 60% with 97 3pt for example.
Next test. Try high, normal, and low with rhythm. I’m shooting just as good from normal to low but I do miss shots that aren’t wide open on low but can make some of those on normal. Thinking about switching back. But I’m really thinking of mastering rhythm because I keep hearing good things about rhythm shooting. But idk if rhythm shooting is best at high risk 🤷♂️
I think it would be best to start on normal because the green window is smaller and as you progress to learn the green window then switch to high risk because if you green on normal constantly you can take advantage of the larger green window more effectivly
Could you rating cutoffs for other stats like you did 3pt? For example like what rebound stats give you the animations you need, or steals for with passing lanes being so op, etc. I love these vids bro ty so much

I got 2k24 3 months ago and I've played 3 seasons with my guy and averaged 27 3pointers a game, now on 2k25 with the exact same animations and attributes, I'm at 50% through 20 games, somethings definately off about shooting
hey tutes, this will be an unpopular ask but is there any chance of doing a video on floaters? like if they should ever be used over shooting a mid or driving paint, thanks
Hey Tutes, there is a green window for button shooting this year, BUT ther is no PURE green window, which means even if u hit the shot perfectly, the random number generator might make you miss. Also, the rhythm shooting DOES have a pure green window, BUT you have to basically time two green windows in one shot. Hope that helped you😁🫡
So with the modded controller I am assuming the input is with the button (square or X). I am VERY curious how these shooting profile results change with rhythm shooting if that is even possible to test. With a much larger green window would normal risk yield better results?
I think low risk takes more into account your 3pt rating right ? So at which point does it become not worth it anymore ? It probably sucks if I have like a 75 3pt rating right ?
My big has a 84 mid and 75 3 ball shooting 50% in the rec in 70 games and over 50% in the city over 30 games switched to normal yesterday from high risk to test 2-12 on whites and I feel like my green window wasn’t there as consistently changed back to high risk the amount of whites going in wasn’t worth the change
The one in jumpshot creator is for any custom jumpshot you make it overrides the one in controller setting. The controller setting visual cue is for when you’re using a NBA players base shot or if playing playnow
Is the percentage different for open shots? Since most shots are considered open not wide open, I'm wondering if it's harder to hit open shots on normal risk..
I cannot make shots on low profile, even with an 85 3pt. I was losing my mind thinking that if I couldn’t hit 3s on low profile, how could I possibly make them on a higher one? Well guess what, my percentage went waaaay up on high profile, lol
Hey tutes Ik this might not be the case but can you test how agility affects shooting. I feel like when my agility wasn’t upgraded I was missing more than when I upgraded it. Might be placebo but Ik there’s also badges such as shifty shooter. Struggling a lot and it doesn’t help I only gave myself an 85 3 and keep changing profiles and jumpshot visual cues.
I dont think agility has something to do with it tbh.. try to focus on some other fixes. Dont get caught up with attribute-badge tie ups, they dont necessarily mean that they boost each other.

High risk|| No Meter - went from 21% - 40% from 3. But gotta find the right jump shot with comfortable timing for yourself.
Yo I’m ngl this might be the greatest 2k channel for info even above 2k labs cause I can find me a jumper anywhere
That's crazy.. I only play on low risk... And I'm 64% from 3. I love it. Maybe it's because I have a slow jumpshot
Much respect to tutes
I love these vids bro ty so much
Would love to see the effects of hot, lethal, and cold zones (especially hot and lethal) but great work as always!
Thanks for these videos
Thanks for the appreciation!
Please test posterizer and if dunking is affected by strength!
I may be giving the sauce away.
But can you see what hot spots in association with Low-Risk does?
I’ve gone into my career. Load up on all my hot spots by playing Rookie with Normal Risk.
Then once my entire floor is all Red or Lethal. I use Low Risk in the Rec. Seems to have improved my odds.
I got 2k24 3 months ago and I've played 3 seasons with my guy and averaged 27 3pointers a game, now on 2k25 with the exact same animations and attributes, I'm at 50% through 20 games, somethings definately off about shooting
Just commenting to show love for all the work you put in ❤
Wow, I appreciate it!
Tutes hope you come through with more motion styles. Eubanks does feel like it did last year in terms of its speed.
I can’t I hit way more on high risk lol
hey tutes, this will be an unpopular ask but is there any chance of doing a video on floaters? like if they should ever be used over shooting a mid or driving paint, thanks
I have a 2 way rim attacker with 75 three and I play on high risk, as long as you time your jump correctly, your gonna make it. Just practice
Hey could you do layup timings and offensive badges as well? Like shooting/playmaking ones, especially dimer
Great detailed content. Thanks bro 🫡
Hope that helped you😁🫡
What was your 3pt rating during this test? That would give an idea of how much rating affects make percentage at different risk levels.
Rhythm shooting… it’s golden ! I’ve been shooting like normal now , everything green
So with the modded controller I am assuming the input is with the button (square or X). I am VERY curious how these shooting profile results change with rhythm shooting if that is even possible to test. With a much larger green window would normal risk yield better results?
Best 2k content creator by far…
What’s difficulty based does it change your settings each game?
Hey tutes can you do test for pass accuracy i need to know whats a sweet spot for faster passing
Who knew you needed a physics degree to shoot in NBA2k25 lol
Right dumb ass game
This game is so garbage .. worst 2k of all time easily. I don’t even think it’s close.
i just said yesterday even 18 was more balanced
please dont ever switch up you give the best 2k videos 😂
Tutes with the 🔥🔥🔥
Court closest to rec timing? Would love to know. Preciate you.
I think low risk takes more into account your 3pt rating right ?
So at which point does it become not worth it anymore ?
It probably sucks if I have like a 75 3pt rating right ?
Can you test Rhythm Shooting vs. Button Shooting?
Noti Gang!
YOUR A LEGEND!
I changed my timing to Normal risk and i played about 30 games lastnight and im shooting 50%
Im sure rythym shooter makes the green window for high risk 100%
what the best layup setting? high risk layup timing make me miss lots of wide open layups lol
You deserve way more like bro I swear
Please do layups I feel I don’t know if I’m releasing with the tempo of the animation or release point
Tutes, can you please test limitless range and shifty shooter next?
Thanks for the suggestion!
@@nba2ktutes need to know if 93 or 91 is the sweet spot for me and a friend, we would reeeeaaaaallllly appreciate that tutes!!!
Hi tutes. Am I seeing things but do we have two visual cues. One in controller setting, one in jumpshot creator?
The one in jumpshot creator is for any custom jumpshot you make it overrides the one in controller setting. The controller setting visual cue is for when you’re using a NBA players base shot or if playing playnow
Would love this same test for standing and driving layups
Is the percentage different for open shots? Since most shots are considered open not wide open, I'm wondering if it's harder to hit open shots on normal risk..
I’ve been watching your videos when you were only getting like 50 likes 😂.. You came a long way Tutes!
thank the lord that we have tutes on earth
Idk high risk works best for me I’m shooting like 45% rn and it’s gradually going up as I figure this shit out lol
Keep grinding bra, I use high risk and I’m at 55%. IMO it feels more like 2K last year
Can you do a video to see if we really need a 90 standing dunk, maybe a lower standing dunk is good enough
Your videos are 🔥
I cannot make shots on low profile, even with an 85 3pt. I was losing my mind thinking that if I couldn’t hit 3s on low profile, how could I possibly make them on a higher one? Well guess what, my percentage went waaaay up on high profile, lol
What 3pt rating are you using in this video?
it doesn't matter. Those recommendation apply to all
@@nba2ktutesbut it still is good to know what 3pt rating achieved these make %s
That's Tutes you the goat
I tried them all & hit the most shots on high risk.
Bro built an aimbot 😭😭😭😭. He the real life tony stark
Awesome vid. As usual .. layup next pls 🙏
Is it even possible to test rhythm shooting currently? Like is there a way to mod a controller to shoot with that or not?
Hey tutes Ik this might not be the case but can you test how agility affects shooting. I feel like when my agility wasn’t upgraded I was missing more than when I upgraded it. Might be placebo but Ik there’s also badges such as shifty shooter. Struggling a lot and it doesn’t help I only gave myself an 85 3 and keep changing profiles and jumpshot visual cues.
I dont think agility has something to do with it tbh.. try to focus on some other fixes. Dont get caught up with attribute-badge tie ups, they dont necessarily mean that they boost each other.
@@nba2ktutes got it 🫡 I’ll keep practicing then.
I need the one about the changing upon difficulty cause I avg 20 in the Rec wit it but I need to know if I shoot 55% should I just stay or go to high risk
Need badge test on shooting asap I think the badges Are not registering properly
You are a legend 🙌
@tutes you didn't drop the bigman motion styles. Only guards and swings. My bigman is moving like a snail with decent speed.
