My Yorkie is my little four legged Angel. Her name is LUCY and she was given toe from my older brother and his wife and they brought her to me because they knew that Lucy would bring me alot of love and companionship I needed because of my declining health issues that I have been on Hospice due to heart disease and suffering from Stage Four Emphysema/ COPD and Chronic Bronchitis. Lucy can sense when I am about to have a breathing attack that causes me to struggle to get air out of my lungs to getting air back into my lungs . I also suffer from my bronicle tubes from closing off being restricted airways from mucus and fluid build up choking me and I cough trying to get my airways open from the thick mucus that builds up in my lungs . Little Lucy knows I'm having trouble breathing and she will lick my hands and luck my face letting me know that she loves this old man and Lucy can sense when I'm about to have severe breathing issues. I am truly blessed to have my little Yorkie dog with me because I'm convinced that Lucy has been my loving friend who has helped me get through very difficult times with my heart and lung disease that I have been told by my Pulmonary Doctor that I'm in the last stages with the Pulmonary disease that will cause my lungs to come apart and collapse one day and my heart will stop beating because of my lungs collapsing.

Just wanted anyone who's interested in my earlier post about my little Yorkie Lucy. Last Saturday she was on the couch and she heard someone drive up and she jumped off the couch and she hurt her lower back so bad that she was not able to use her rear legs. I picked her up put her on my couch and all Lucy could do was breath with her mouth open and her tongue hanging out looking at me with pain in her eyes . I used hot rag on her lower back and it helped her some.
I called my sister in law who's a widow because we lost her husband my older brother to covid19 last year .I told her what happened and she came down from the north side of Atlanta to where I live on the south side to an animal clinic where x-rays show that When Lucy jumped off the couch it caused one of the vertebrae to shift a nerve to press from spinal cord.
Vetanarian told my sister in law that if Lucy could not go to the bathroom within 24 hours she would have to be put down.
Lucy wasn't brought back here to me she was took back to her house and her daughters house because Lucy is her grandsons so that's where Lucy will rehab and with prayers get better and use her rear legs again. Lucy I'm texted is some better because Lucy goes to the restroom in baby diapers and she drinks water too.
They showed me pictures of her in a chair eating a French h fry from her grandson.
A video of lu y shows her on a soft looking blanket her barking to someone and Lucy barking at whoever is taking to her . I was told that her grandson is a happy boy to have his dog back that they'll try to find another Yorkie for me with no luck. Everyone is happy up there and this sick old man is just depressed and broken down and hearted.

Oh gosh! They’re so awesome!! We have 3 here, mama Gracee girl, Jaxi, ( my sons), and Jetta!! I am looking for a stud to breed with Jetta, she’ll be 4 at the end of Oct. I’m wanting to breed with a black, possibly. We’ve had their DNA done, Jetta is also smaller, they all are. She’s the only one I didn’t have fixed( we didn’t). They are so incredible with kids and dogs, cats. Never once have they snapped at a child, however! They’re so small, adults should teach to hold these little mighty’s. I won’t let the pups go until I check all resources and living conditions as well. The smallest is 3.6 lbs. she actually works at a counseling center.

what's the different between miniature yorrkie and teacup yorkie
Breeders will tell you there is no such thing as teacup Yorkie. It is only the smaller/runt of the litter. If you own a small dog have the vet check for liver shunts or read about it so you can know what to look for if your Yorkie becomes ill. Feeding a kibble diet could lead to glucose/diabetes issues by age 5-10. Spay only after 18 months because dogs need the hormones for their growing bones. Don't over vaccinated your small Yorkie. Most vax are measured out for large dogs especially Rabies, find a holistic vet who will give only appropriate amount. I'm not a vet but have read, researched, experienced, in 15 years of owning Yorkies.

My Yorkie when he was registered with kennel club as black , tan and steel, he’s two years old now and full steel and tan.
I have a blonde Yorkie and I do mean BLONDE. His mom was completely blonde as well. He was the only one out off all 3 of her litters that was completely blonde like her. 2 litters had 5 puppies and one litter had 3 puppies. So out of 13 puppies he was the only one that is completely blonde. Matter of fact the other 12 puppies all had the more traditional Yorkie coloring. Im guessing its a rare? Other than my dog and his mom I havent seen a Yorkie that was completely blonde with no other color.

That is a separate but related breed developed first in Germany, so that they must have an undocked tail for AKC requirements. I'd like a Yorkie with it's full un-mutilated tail.
