Imagine living in the guest house and driving through the Rhino Ranch grand entrance to get home... Gives being a guest a whole new meaning. Hopefully Chris is off those crutches by the New Year!
New to the channel and I absolutely love the home improvement and DIY stuff. Lost my job in September here in Utah right after we closed on our new house in what is becoming a rapidly gentrified state so it's been super super super rough obviously. I'm keeping at it and looking for work but a ton of people just entered the job market and it's swinging back towards being an advantage for the big corporations and employers able to pay less and less. I'd love to get back to doing something with my hands or start my own company doing detailing/home services or something like that but with a new house + a 2 year old, and a whack ass economy inflating like a balloon while Brandon lies to our faces about it, it's simply not an option for me right now. Once I get another job in my traditional career path locked down I plan on starting a side hustle and hopefully letting that become my own business or working two jobs. I'm sure with dedication and hard work it'll be good eventually, but in the meantime I really really appreciate having a positive example and proof that hard work pays off eventually, along with the entertainment and good info on detailing and home DIY stuff. Anyway long story short, we're in a really rough spot right now and I haven't struck oil yet, but all I can do is keep pushing and being the best man I can be/doing good deeds and putting good out into the universe so I just had to do what I can to support you and bought the sick Black and Teal work for it hoodie. Just keep up the positive vibes and paying it forward like you do, and know that what you're doing helps people of all walks of life and backgrounds, sometimes in ways you probably never imagined. On a positive note, hopefully Cali is gradually going to get better for you as all the tech companies move here and bring their over paid fat cat employees to drive us out of our home state. Maybe we'll pack up and join you in the desert (a better one than Utah) when our financial situation improves or we lose the house, whichever comes first I guess. Life will keep rolling on either way. Stay good.
Keep it pushing man. Sounds like you have a great attitude. It’s always positive to see and hear or read of someone who is dealing with their hardship head on. Keep it up. From a SoCal self employed subtrade . 👍🏾😎
Use a propane torch on the weather flashing to heat it. With it being so cool out the flashing will dry faster this way. You know once its dry it set. So yeah the cool weather is a good thing. I have had to do this before here in Texas. I have probably installed around 1 million security windows. So yeah there are around 2 or 3 hundred different types of security glass with sometime completely different install styles. That being said your doing a great job. I haven't see or heard anything your doing wrong. So yeah Brother Work For IT!!! For the floor leveling... LevelQuik Rapid Setting Self Leveling Underlayment - The Home Depot
Love the construction videos g. Great job chasing those paper slices down. People sometimes don’t realize how water can be very intrusive. You gotta seal it.
This has hands down been one of the best channels I follow. Been following since I was in Camp Pendleton. While all your videos have been entertaining and great it’s the build series that are the most motivating to get out there and maybe take on a project. Thanks for all the content Ryno
Man I love all your videos I am at home with Covid and won’t be able to see my family for Christmas I just want to say thank you so much for putting a smile on my face
Hey Dmaxryno a nother awesome videos on your channel alot every day u are awesome TH-camr u put out the best content on your channel alot every day u definitely my favorite TH-camr u have a safe holiday and merry Christmas from my family to your family keep up the great work on your channel 😀🌲🎁
Always majority life motivational to me.... I just had to replace my stolen 2500 diesel work truck... So now I'm building a 3500 diesel duallyon my YT channel.... Salute to everyone grind, Motivations, accomplishments , families , goals.....
ok ok you say your freezing while your in southern Cali lol, here in Edmonton Alberta it was a nice minus 37 today....thats minus 37 c haha. Nice work on the ranch man loving the progress videos
any plans for a Walters butt T-Shirt lol, property is looking great man. such a blessing it must be to help a friend out and give them an amazing place to live. as always great content man keep up doing you.
Yo. Any Chance you can drop the link to that fireplace? My wife has been wanting one and I'm planning on doing the same kind of framed out area in our living room.
I do a ton of remodel construction at work and it’s always a pain in the a**, takes twice as long and is twice as difficult. Especially when homeowners want to keep ridiculous things trying to save money but don’t realize that they’re just paying it in labor.
Is it true that Cali passed a law banning generator use??? Ive read it a couple places now and found it to be just way over the top, even that there state.
If you put your TV on the wall across from those windows, aren't you going to get a lot of glare on the screen from the windows ? I guess you could get some of those room darkening window shades. Just a thought, because I had that problem before.
Now that you’re done all that stucco demo you should have just put those plumbing pipes in the wall!! Just my plumber 2 cents! Still a great looking project so far
Again, great attention to detail ! This is why you DO have nice things. As nice as you're making this place, are you going to have to raise the rent ? 😉
For the flooring issues why not just use a self leveling compound/cement? shouldn't be to expensive and it'd be faster then trying to level out random spots in the floor.
When I was younger I would watch a show called home improvement. I had to be like 7, here I am, at 33 still watching home remodels🤦🏻♀️ I work with animals🤷🏻♀️

@@lillian5982 lmao scammer😂💀
You can come pull nails any day of the week for me my guy! Thanks for another update Im digging the content!
Gonna be remodeling my own home so I learn a lot from your vids
Don’t forget to put a outlet next to the blocking for the tv...
Already in!
Personally I LOVE these type of vids! Where you explain all the little in’s and out’s of what you’re doing (construction wise) I’m learning so much 🙏🏽
I used install siding and windows and we always had to use 3m spray adhesive to make the fortiflash stick. I live in northwest it’s always cold lol.
When we set windows in the winter, we use a small propane torch to heat the tape and get it to stick, works like a charm
Literally just bought my F*** Luck T-shirt and a work for it sticker!!! Let's go can't wait for it!
The 450 looks good just seent it on the 54 can’t miss that tailgate 😆
We love DuPont tape for windows.

You should extend tv mount on the left a right as the ones I’ve see are maybe 24-36” wide.
You have the ambition that I wish I had man love to see every video you post and i know there’s so much more behind the scenes
Love your drive about everything, #workforit

Window on the side of the front door? I've always liked that look in an entry way. Alot you can do with it
See through fireplace
You should put a window next to the door it gives it more a house feel
All these projects I can’t stop watching, I can’t wait to see the end, but I’m also going to be so sad when they are done lol
The guest house is looking good. I hate stucco work. But learning some new tricks from this video. Like didnt know smooth cut edges are not best

Always majority life motivational to me.... I just had to replace my stolen 2500 diesel work truck... So now I'm building a 3500 diesel duallyon my YT channel.... Salute to everyone grind, Motivations, accomplishments , families , goals.....

Yo. Any Chance you can drop the link to that fireplace? My wife has been wanting one and I'm planning on doing the same kind of framed out area in our living room.
I need the link too
Yessir, when I get home I’ll get it for you.
Sick Thank you man 🤘
Did the link ever get posted?
Are you gonna do anything with the floor or leave it concrete?
On aluminum windows they are true to size. Vinyl window are call out size.
Good to know!
love workforit apparel

You should sell magnets like those on the site. Or link where we can find them.
Looks great Ryan. One question, your accent wall, why not build it on the floor then stand up and shim instead of stick frame? Much quicker
These floors are so out of whack, you'd fight standing it up. For something this small it didn't take much longer to build in place.
@@DMAXRYNO 👍 😂. Nothing straight in Cali. Lol. Just purchased a nice Work For it hat, will be sporting here in CT A fan for many years 🇺🇸❤️
Is it true that Cali passed a law banning generator use??? Ive read it a couple places now and found it to be just way over the top, even that there state.
Good content 👌
Dude u hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣 he like dangit i might just jinxed it 🤣🤣🤣
It rains in California?
If you put your TV on the wall across from those windows, aren't you going to get a lot of glare on the screen from the windows ?
I guess you could get some of those room darkening window shades.
Just a thought, because I had that problem before.
There’s about 10’ of overhang past that window and no sun on that side of the house. Even then, a normal set of blinds will do just fine
Cool story bro
Hey man what’s the best way to get ahold of your buddy zack I need some mechanic help on my truck!? I’d really appreciate it!
#workforit
all the time
even if you're helping your mom with groceries
Now that you’re done all that stucco demo you should have just put those plumbing pipes in the wall!! Just my plumber 2 cents! Still a great looking project so far
Which is worse lumber prices or gas prices?
Fuel by far. Lumber has come down a good bit.
@@DMAXRYNO I guess it’s different on the East Coast lol Hang onto that harbor freight generator for dear life I hear they’re trying to take it from ya

Looking good Dude! Can't you find something for Gimpy to do,he could hose off the donkey doo!!
How do you you like the m12 hackzall over a fullsize sawzall?? Been looking into buying one
It’s good for smaller stuff. Wouldn’t do any heavy demo with it
I remember when you said you weren’t/didn’t wanna do any stucco work. lol
You can go lowered but you will need to have tempered glass,
Rynoooo u should make a prerunner
May have ordered some parts the other night 😈😈😈
Again, great attention to detail !
This is why you DO have nice things.

Did I miss a video on what happened to Chris' knee?
Torn meniscus
Have I missed it? Any guesses on who the guest is that has made this a big priority? Maybe Ryno has said I dunno who?!
The window will reflect on the tv screen.
Sow a workforit sign
Put outlet for t.v. you don't want to see power cord hanging down
Lol "it's cold out" it's-37°C here
That fish eye look while turning in the room really messed with me for a few seconds
