In 2017, during the "Trump slump" I bought a S&W Shield for $235...and then got a $75 rebate check from S&W...making my final cost $160. There was no panic buying as there had been in 2013-2016 when our rights were under constant threat. I predict the same will happen when Trump takes office in January. Especially when ATF regulations start getting rescinded and we get a pro-2A Attorney General and ATF Director.
@@paulmoss7940 The 4473 is NOT a regulation. It is part of the GCA '68. The 4473 will NOT go away except by LAW passed by Congress or a court ruling. The ATF Director can't change the law. @@bigbadjohnpesek9894he just explained that. People panic buy when gun grabbers get elected.
Manufacturers have overproduced the supply of guns , hence their not moving fast enough, so they will be discounted. Plus, the majority of gun enthusiasts have more than enough guns and many rarely use them all.
Ive been wondering this too, some of the prices on 9mm handguns, and some revolvers are the best Ive ever seen. The panic buying was the worst under Obama, and during the 2016 election in my experience. I think after that a lot of companies ramped up production, to the point that big market fluctuations arent as much of an issue. Not to mention, the market for firearms at large has increased massively in the past decade or so. Also, online firearms sales has become way more popular recently
Koba, you know what's interesting. KYGUNCO is my go to for new firearms most of the time. This year, their Black Friday sale stinks. I was looking to pick up a couple of pistols for the range. I figured this year would be ideal. Here we are at Black Friday and the deals stink. I'm shocked.
The last 3 months alot of like new used guns have been traded in, they have been priced at least 150 less than new ones in the same case. Picked up a couple that way.
Stock up on the ammos, some of the major components for ammos are imported, mainly China. Once the tariff goes through, price will go up unless the demand stays low. By the way, where do you guys find all the extra money to buy these toys even they are great deals? With this bad economy, I can’t even afford a dz of eggs!
I got into the psa daggers when they were having killer sales, I pieced two together for under 250 each. One compact and one S or full sized. So far flawless performance
Great video sir. Yes It is a buyer's market right now. Even ammunition seems to be plentiful and more affordable than usual, not great price wise but better than it has been and it's there. I just picked up a few new pieces for very reasonable prices. One is a Polymer 80 ( Glock 17) for $300.00. The other an Inglis nickel plated Hi power for $384.11 😮. The Inglis is all forged, no MIM parts Whatsoever. I've been wanting to get a hi power for a while and I just could not pass on it. Another good tip for people is to look for companies that will not charge you sales tax and will give you free shipping. Also beware of hidden fees once you to get to the cart. For example "gun processing fees". Thoes are Complete BS and are only their to bump up the profit, basically false advertisement and IMO unethical. They tell you they're not gonna charge you shipping but then at the end hit you with this ridiculous fee. That's when I exit the page. Once again very good informal video.
You are so right. Meanwhile California imposed a "guns and ammo" tariff of 10% in a state where sales tax on food and everything else is already 10.5% on average.
I don't know where you are from but here in Cleveland Ohio gun's are not low in price. Not at the shops or at the shows. The shows are the worst. They will literally offer people half the price for a new gun.
There are a looot of future moving parts coming up. He needs to stay guarded at all time other side will not stop . Then there is inauguration. If anything goes wrong in future shit will hit the fan. It’s in people’s mind. That will influence pricing
I got a sks from old western scrounge. Paid 600 for an A grade. It came with a busted guide rod and it had rust all over it.. I think 400 would have been more relative. And yes the 40 dollar shipping is ridiculous which I paid. I paid my FFl 40 bucks for transfer. All said and done I paid 680 bucks for a rusty sks with a busted guide rod. I wouldn’t buy from them.
You say 50% I say 100 to 300% depending on what you mean. Bleach was 1.59 a gallon when Trump left office. It's way more than doubled under Harris/Obama
This is exactly what i see as well. This last yearwas terrible for our gun sales. Even with it being an electio year, it was horrible. Our worst year since 2016.
I don't really think tariff's are the end goal. Imo what he's doing is scaring world leaders with these threats of tarriffs. And the motivation behind that is to get them to come to the table to negotiate fairer trade deals with us. They will be much more willing to cut a deal with us to try to avoid the tarriffs than if he just asks them nicely if they will play more fair.
It’s the market and election timing. Some big ticket popular guns are still expensive but they are available (which should keep the prices from going up due to demand). I wish ammo would get cheaper.
For those generic handguns, they might be priced low but can one find holsters, magazines and optic plate or sights for them? In other words they might be selling for a low price becasue not many want them do to lack of parts. And of course are they of good quality? That FN Scars is for a good price but I suspect FN over priced the NRCH version and not many were willing to part with $3500 for the 5.56 version.
Low prices huh? Maybe for Tupperware but I just dropped a kilobuck for a new Super Blackhawk. I couldn't find a Blackhawk 41 magnum to save my sould and the same for a single seven. DA revolvers from the big three are all high triple digits to mid four digit prices. Lever action rifles also $1000 or more except for "cheap" model 92 clones which are $800 or so. The only deals I found was a Kel Tec 22 auto and a RIA pocket 38 and the 38 was noticably higher than just a couple years ago. Taurus has a couple of interesting possibilities with guns like their new Deputy but many of their guns lately have been of questionable QC (856 for example) with sketchy customer service. Hi-Points are still affordable I guess if I wanted a center-fire auto pistol. At least they have good customer service if there is a problem. I could take a chance on a Taurus TH40 once I get my revolver and long gun needs taken care of.
Prices are low on polymer guns not high quality. I like and primarily collect polymer guns but lets be real most of the ones thatbare cheap are cheap because they are basic as fuck or foreign with greatly reduced labor costs. Its also november when ALL retailers have black friday sales early.
