I love this album a lot. It's nice to hear the band return to more concise songs while also injecting some of that jammy spirit from their last couple of releases. I think it's also personally great that this album is so collaborative. Every member gets a time to shine and i feel like it's the culmination of the band allowing for other members to sing/write their songs which they've been doing more and more lately and not have it just be the Stu show. I'm really just astounded that the band is 26 albums in and they're still putting out stuff of this high quality.
You mention Michael Cavanaugh's, the drummer's, singing voice sounding like Ambrose, Stu etc;... He literally sings in 1 song, his vocal debut, Le Risque, in a deep speaking style verse (The laugh in your intro). What are you talking about dude?
Really good outing I agree and a good review. I disagree on one thing : Ambrose can really sing. I think with Stu he is the strongest vocalist in the band. Just the opening of The Dripping Tap proves that :)
@@hectorThechilldudeonacouch when you have that much of an output, you're going to get some duds. But I find their misses are far outweighed by their hits. It's a 1/4 ratio for me.
Nice review. That was Nazareth not ACDC.
@@michaelmiller7574 Nazareth!! That's the band, thanks!

Son Of A Bitch is a lyric from Nazareth's Hair Of The Dog
26 albums in 14 years thats insane. To me they are sometimes hit or miss.
