It sounds nice so you walk towards it, a ray of soul and warmth in the cold empty night. The closer you get, the better it sounds. You’re not sure if it’s real or if you are dreaming, but somehow it doesn’t seem to matter. You hear words about angels. You go closer and you realise it’s Nikki Sudden standing in front of you. With a costume made of gold, singing about those angels. He begs you for a light. You walk on towards the platform, the music is still playing but it’s fading away slowly. Your train comes in. The electronic sign says you have 34 minutes to go until you’re home. You fall asleep instantly. When you wake up at your station, 39 minutes later, you take the escalator up to the street. It’s raining. As usual. You start walking towards your flat, light up a cigarette and start smiling. You just dreamt that you met Nikki Sudden in a tunnel on your way home. Dreams are so weird sometimes.
