- My "Dream SMP But I Troll Skeppy" reaction is surprise. Basically @awesamdude builds a maze for @Technoblade on the Dream SMP. Technoblade hires @Skeppy to run the maze. This despite the Dream SMP being a Minecraft roleplay server and the maze was built for Technoblade.
I'm reacting to "Dream SMP But I Troll Skeppy" to watch Technoblade outright troll Skeppy for a change. Although at the end we see Skeppy turn it into a troll on his Dream SMP friend @thesaintsofgames. Technoblade was known for his Minecraft ability before joining the Dream SMP. I've already looked at "Skyblock: The Great Potato War" and "beating minecraft hardcore mode with a steering wheel." He's ventured more into Dream SMP content with videos like "Developing the Syndicate [Dream SMP]" and "forming a secret organization [Dream SMP]." However he still takes time to mess with Skeppy, recently uploading "I Ruined Skeppy’s Video" which messed up his Minecraft, but challenge in Minecraft 1.16.4.
Skeppy meanwhile has gained notoriety for trolling on the Dream SMP. Typically the victim of his trolls on the Dream SMP is BadBoyHalo. With videos like "I Troll BadBoyHalo with An Even More Confusing Minecraft Mod" and "So I Used a Sound Board on BadBoyHalo To Troll Him..." it's safe to say he deserves this troll.

@@YoBGS it’s more he just doesn’t want to make decisions then he’s a minion. The Badlands doesn’t technically have a leader, Skeppy just doesn’t really log on a lot or really pay attention to the lore.

The Badlands are like side characters where they just come in and join the losing side to "Make it More Interesting/Last Longer" because all they want is chaos

Skeppy, Bad, Sam, and some others have their own storyline going on along side the L'manburg story. I'd recommend looking into it, it's really entertaining and ties into the L'manburg story after awhile.
According to Badboyhalo it will eventually tie in with the main plot.

Techno blade didn’t actually plant any TNT! That was Wilbur and Dream. Techno did however blow everyone up with his rocket launcher and withers however lol

i remember phil was talking to sam (awesamdude) about how sam was gonna make techno do this challenge, and sam was confident there was no way techno could cheat the system (dude's v talented with redstone), but phil was like mate, there's no way techno doesn't find a way out of it. turns out, techno's method was just to make skeppy do it for him lmao.
sam is a very interesting character and creator on the smp (he's actually doing a face reveal today!), and he said last stream that he's approaching 50 real days' worth of time spent on the dream smp alone (and that doesn't include the hours he spends planning and testing out his redstone builds outside of the server). he's who i would argue holds most of the power on the server (besides techno in pure pvp ability and dream with creative mode lol). (EDIT: since it's already been spoiled for you, i will say that if techno was in the same place as dream is currently, he would have no shot. sam's ability with redstone and what he's accomplished on the server is v scary lmao.)
also, lore-wise, skeppy, sam, bad and antfrost make up 'the badlands'. they also have some separate plots going on that you won't really see if you're just watching tommy's pov, for example. personally, i watch techno, ranboo and sam, which is nice as it lets me see a bit more of the less-exposed members.
also!! the horses are also special bc techno spent a week selectively breeding them lmao. they're probably the best quality horses on the server (health-wise, speed-wise, etc.).
dude is definitely one of the most powerful and overlooked at the same time - if anyone annoyed sam (and he's very hard to annoy) there is a lot he could do to them - rn he could just put them in that place but even without that he built a lot of the spawner xp farms and has his own personal one - if he was to pack all his stuff in a more secret base and destroy the community xp it'd take them a while to get everything back which gives him plenty of time to do shit to them without him being affected by anything destroyed

That works most of the time. It is hard to do here because dead ends kill you and set you back and it doesn't work for mazes that have loops in them: 2 ways to go from point A to point B

skeppy had a role in owning one of Tommy's disk, being part of the badlands, the pet war, and being controlled by the egg
skeppy is definitely more just a casual player, but his friendship to badboyhalo has at least given him a spot in the lore and his name does get thrown around quite often. and yes he’s part of the badlands(honestly he just sides with whatever Bad is doing o_o)
i will say that if you want to see a bit of skeppy actually roleplay: right around the time you are in the story, badboyhalo and a few others are working on a side arc that skeppy has a pretty important role in. though skeppy’s role in itself is not part of the main dsmp plot, bad has stated that the overall story will become a very prominent part (which will later become very apparent)
if you’re interested, i would check out the BloodVines Saga ep. 1-3 on youtube. it’s a nice reduced version of several streams, bc the progress is pretty slow and none of the main people are youtubers so there’s no official videos on it. BUT, it’s my favorite side arc as it messes with a lot of cool stuff and it’s where the theorizing really begins to come into play as it’s all completely canon and important to the lore no matter how...weird things get! :D

sam is one of the older members of the smp and is also a redstoner and a coder. and yes sam does make an absolutely insane build to keep a certain person contained and yes we all bow to the redstone king awesamdude king of creepers and redstone.

The "going left" thing doesn't work for that maze because his decisions are locked in after every move, but also, mazes that can have looping pathways may not always work for that tactic.

the parts that skeppy was a big part of was him having one of tommys discs, and then he was a pretty big part of a side plot for a plot in the future from where youve seen rn.
Skeppy has some lore that’s not pertaining to the main story, and yes he’s apart of the Bad Lands, many people not involved with the main plot has created their own factions and stuff
He also was one of the first dream smp members who got infected by the egg (before bbh got infected)
skeppy at one point owned one of tommy's discs, but aside from that he really hasn't done much lore-wise
He mostly didn't really have a character arc but then this blood vine side plot started-
The badlands are in the b plot lore

Bad is a demon that’s tied to Skeppy, which makes Bad have an infinite amount of canon lives. If skeppy looses a life though, bad will too. If skeppy were to die, bad also would too.

I'm pretty sure this isn't completely canon and just a bit, even if it's still a bit it's fun to watch. Yes, Skeppy is part of the Badlands; Skeppy would be part on the lore but I think it's just a side story and mostly "ignored". To be honest I don't usually watch the side story (not named because SPOILERS are a NO), because im very hooked on Ranboo angst. Just my opinions and answers on this vid!
Skeppy is very close friends with BadBoyHalo and the more recent stuff involving the badlands has featured them and Captain Puffy pretty prominently.
