    Thanks for the tutorial! Do you happen to know if it is possible to record wav files of GrandOrgue's audio output? I see people on the internets talking about recording wave from GrandOrgue but I couldn't figure out how this could be done...

    Hi, I have two M-Audio key station 61 Mk3 usb manuals, I can’t get GrandOrgue to recognise both keyboards, either recognises one or the other. If I configure one manual correctly (which works fine) it will not recognise the second usb keyboard on the programme when pressing the lowest key? Any help would be appreciated thank you.

      Hi Graham_Furlonger, I can understand your frustration. I will do the best I can to help you troubleshoot your issue. I had a similar issue when it came to my Novation Launchpad Mini MK3's. To fix this, under the file menu, click on Settings..., when the Program Settings dialog pops up, click on the MIDI Devices tab. Under MIDI input devices, make sure both of your M-Audio keystation 61 MK3's are selected (if you even see both of them). Once they're both selected, click on OK and try setting them up again. I hope that helps. Please keep us up-to-date whether or not that worked.

      @@VirtualPipeOrganProject hi, I have sorted it now (almost by luck) I decided that I would go into the midi window in midi audio tab (mac Catalina) and rename the keyboards to choir, great and swell that way I could see what keyboard was configured easier. That in itself cured it, I think the fact that each keyboard is by default called the same was the issue?
      Anyhow hope this helps anyone else and now off to build a console. Lol
      Thank you for your response. 👍🏻

      I figured it out. If you would like to do the tutorial, let me know, I have a couple others in mind, but I would definitely love to cover this feature as it is a definite life saver! I have spreadsheets for my setups, but this allows me to simplify them even further, so I thank you so much for discovering this!

    Hello, good day. I just followed everything you did on your tutorial and it seems like it doesnt work on my Yamaha Psr E203. I used a USB-MIDI to connect my laptop to my keyboard. I dont know what's the problem on this one but I am hoping that you could help me out sir.

    • @VirtualPipeOrganProject
      @VirtualPipeOrganProject  ปีที่แล้ว

      What type of USB-MIDI cable are you using? Believe it or not, that can make or break your set up. I was using an older cable and I was having nothing but problems getting my keyboards talking to the computer. I ended up buying a new Roland UM-ONE and that solved all my problems.

    • @ChrisTopher-or2in
      @ChrisTopher-or2in ปีที่แล้ว

      Its a simple USB-MIDI sir that you can see on the internet. It actually has lights, like when the usb is plugged in, the light flashes. But I am confused Sir, when I plug the IN and OUT cord from the laptop to the keyboard, the lights are not flashing, but the laptop recognizes the USB itself.

      What is your Email sir? So that I can send a short video about my USB-MIDI and to show you the problems I am facing right now.

      If you can also show the MIDI cables and how they're plugged in, that would also help. I would also try to reverse how they're plugged in, that might have something to do with it, but I'll know more once I see your setup.

    Does the sound will come out to the Organ Speakers?

    • @hymnally_yours
      @hymnally_yours 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, the sound will NOT come out your Organ Speakers, unless your setup involves routing your computer's Audio through to your Organ Speakers. Your Organ Console is going to act as a Controller for GrandOrgue. A big misconception is that MIDI = AUDIO. IT DOES NOT! I had to learn this as well when I started experimenting over a decade ago. The IDEAL set-up that I would recommend is to route your Audio from the Computer to an External Amplifier via an HDMI connection. From there, you have the option of wiring your Organ's Speakers to the Amplifier with Speaker Wire, or invest in some high quality external speakers that you can set up around the room however you wish. I sincerely hope this helps!

      If you right click on the manual, and reduce the Lowest velocity to something a little under 20, and the highest velocity to 80, it does helpp quicken it up.

    how to stop that hissing sound , sound like a air blower?

    • @VirtualPipeOrganProject
      @VirtualPipeOrganProject  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That may depend on the sampleset. For the demo set, there's a "blower" stop top center of the sampleset panel. Click on it so it deluminates, the blower sound will go away. For most samplesets, go to Panel, find the submenu for the current sampleset and look for something like Noise controls, and you should find something along the lines of a "blower noise" stop in that panel.

    • @hymnally_yours
      @hymnally_yours 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes, I can. This seems to be a new bug in the system. I just set up the new computer for my organ and did a fresh install of GrandOrgue and I encountered the same problem. Here's the fix: right click on the keyboard in question and make sure to set the lowest velocity to 1 if it's at 0. Click on OK and that should solve your problem.
