    I'm very interested in following your adventures and learning about the reliability of this camper. I love the look, features, and rugged look of the Ember Overland series. I think Ember had a little rocky start, but it seems like they have worked out those issues, and maybe some of those issues were due to supplier quality during the covid years. Looks like you picked a good one! Thanks for making these videos.

      Zerk grease fittings are on all of the CURT independent suspension systems. Very early versions (some 2022 models) did not include them and this was changed (and can be retrofitted).

    I just bought an IBEX 20bhs and the maintenance guys and the RV dealer mentioned to never just exchange those propane tanks, get them filled. According to them it was a much more expensive premium tank. Whatever that means, I almost forgot until you mentioned exchanging them anywhere.

    • @chrismktgpsu

      They are not "premium tanks". They just want you to buy their propane because then they make money vs exchange places. I've seen exchanges as cheap as $18 which is somewhat comparable to a tank refill in my area with MUCH less time and hassle.

    • @GloriousDayAdventures

      Sometimes finding a place to get them filled isn't easy when you are traveling though but there are many places to exchange them.

    This is amazing! I have been doing tons of research looking at one for us. We have a special needs daughter who will live with us forever; this has plenty of storage for 3! Does the couch turn into a bed?

    • @GloriousDayAdventures

      The couch does fold down to a bed. It's not for a really tall person and it's not a super comfortable couch so it may not be a super comfortable bed, without a topper. We have seen where people change out the couch though or put in extra foam padding. Ember has other layouts that include bunks or their new models with the e-track system.

    I hope your experiences with are much better than I had I perches fqb in 22 all of same reasons you have I even installed washer dryer into center pass thru went a 4+ mounth trip to see as many national parks as I could my unit at that time came 3,000 w inverter charger 3×190 watt solarer I also had a 2,500 watt gerator ran at 2,200 watt I was nessary everyday to charger batteries good sun was not enough it keep batteries up I couldn't run air on inverter , gen. Or plugged in I gave up on air till finished trip I hade put soft start on air and finally plugged in only was able to low start air and ramp up not on inverter or gen ember finally add another battery still unable to run air on inverter combo with gen (batteries were battleborn 100 amp each total 300) now I see you have 800 watt solar and 2 batteries totaling much more than I had yes I understood air would be short time 3 to 6 hrs (was never 3 ) I hope systems they have now are much better the attraction I had was off grid as my trip was all blm land outside national parks and good to fair sun suspension wa excellent storage was fantastic the ge 12v fridge worked great but need defrost every 6 to 8 (wasn't frost free) the trip was trip of life time low budget on ss and small savings gas and food only no camping fees awesome parks recommend to any one ( l have had 40 + years of motorhomes & camping trailers all kinds) solar system did live up to as explained one last foot note washer dryer cold only never dryer on solar laundry air dried as I expected with the exception of solar/inverter system great unit well thought out for fantastic storage hope new units have improved on electric / inverter charger / solar I no longer own it traded before 2 or warrantee was up about 21 ish months hope this may help prospective new owners (used older systems not up to par beware) I went direct to ember factory for several minor issues they fixed with excellent work except electrical / solar hope you have fantastic adventures with yours and many happy years

    • @GloriousDayAdventures

      We will look into doing that next year after we have had some time to travel in it. There seems to be more quality issues when they first started making them a few years ago but they seem to have gotten things figured out.

      We've come a long way since starting up in 2021. We're always interested in doing better and building better RVs. We've build far more RVs in recent years with far fewer problematic reviews... and we're actually known for our build quality and customer service today!

    Great video. You should never exchange propane tanks. All the big vendors that exchange propane tanks do not fill them up all the way. You only get about 17 lbs in a 20 Lbs tank. Check it out.

    • @buckshot5896

      When you exchange 20lb tanks , they are only filled to 15 lbs, they don’t feel to max of 20lb. Another reason I always take to tractor supply to get refilled( also it’s cheaper)

    • @GloriousDayAdventures

      Having the option to either fill or exchange was important to us because when we are traveling, it may not be easy to find a place to fill them. I have found that when we had some filled, they didn't always fill them all the way up either. Maybe we need to find a new place to fill them. :)

    • @GloriousDayAdventures

    IS THE AIRCONDITION 12 VOLTS?

    • @GloriousDayAdventures

      No, it is 110V. When we are not plugged into shore power, it will run off the lithium batteries and the inverter, but not for very long.

    • @EmberRecreationalVehicles

      The Aventa air conditioner is made by Truma and is powered by 120V. It can be used off-grid via the inverter, but it’s very battery intensive (even with the 270Ah Battle Born LiFePO4 battery)!

    • @buckshot5896

      @@EmberRecreationalVehiclesyou must install a soft start on your ac to run off batteries or generators. I’m an electrician, I had to install one on my 5ton home heat pump, it allows to use much smaller generator during power outages. It ramps up slowly instead of an instant surge of amperage. The surge is reason portable generators can’t handle a home heat pump. I consider a soft start a must have for home or RV. Pretty inexpensive if your an electrician

  • @jroddy1

    Imagine going off grid with a monster like that? That's insane. Way too big to be versatile
