FOOTBALL TACTICS EXPLAINED 4-2-3-1 : How to get the full-backs high with cover in soccer

Playing full-backs high has become something of a fashion for some Premier League and other top European teams. Following Jurgen Klopps successful implementation to the system at Liverpool with Trent Alexander-Arnold at right back and Scotland captain Andy Robertson at left back. Pep Guardiola, who had previously used this at Barcelona and Bayern Munich before his Manchester City managerial career started using a four-man defense, used the system through the last three seasons and even Sir Alex Ferguson with Manchester United in the early premiership years used to like his full-backs attacking.
