2011s are the best 3-gun handguns for a reason. 46 ounces with a less than 2 pound trigger pull. Perfect for shredding, plus with the Combat Master variation, you get Taran Butlers experience put into the firearm.
does anyone consistently shoot 9 major out of this gun? I called STI they said it was "meant" to shoot standard 9mm... Taran says it was built for 9 Major that isn't was STI claims.. I was told 9 major is going to crack the slide and the spring needs to be replaced to prevent slide crack when shooting 9 major
So I got to fire one of these. The slide is like silk, however after firing it it felt that the slide action felt too delayed. I only fired a few rounds, but don't know how feel about the firearm over all. Trigger very crisp.
That gun is almost 4 grand no thanks buddy its cool looks great and i bet it shoots like a dream ...but Glocks are good and Czs are a dream to shoot and my favorite gun i have a CZ P10F and i easily hit head shots at the range at 75 feet and it holds 20 and i paid 700 bucks for it .... like I said the gun is great but for that price point just not worth it I could buy two CZ and 3 M&P Sport 2 AR-15 for the price of that one gun...
Taran tactical is a bit of a gucci brand, their stuff is great but over priced due to brand recognition. They have the john wick lightweight AR15 for like 2 grand without optics but if you surf around for parts can build it for less than half, this gun isnt much different.
My only gripe is the the grips these fish scale grips are so overplayed in the 2011 world and honestly they look cheap to me. To each their own but if I was spending 4k on a pistol I'd want perfection haha
I understand that you are all into the BROMANCE for the Taran Tactical Product but when you started to compare them to the SIG 1911 pistols you lost all credibility because you were comparing two Daily Carry type pistols with 5-6 LBS trigger pull pistols that are 45acp that come with 20 LBS Flat Wire Recoil Springs to a Purpose Build Competition Pistol by STI that was then taken by TTI added some lighting cuts and coated the barrel in highly Lubricated coating that allows the pistols to be SMOOTH as ICE and has a Recoil Spring that is about 12-14 LBS but because of the MASS of the Slide it allows the pistol to function EXTREMELY SMOOTH and FLAWLESSLY! I do not buy into the whole TTI super pistol thing since the weapons were made originally by STI and TTI just added a few features that just make the pistol look like a Billboard for TTI! STI had the same pistol available before they became STACCATO as long as the person Ordering selected the correct options. I much rather have a Wilson Combat, Nighthawk Custom or even Les Baer than a TTI because I know that those pistols are made in-house by gunsmiths that put their name on the work order. I do not much care for all the TTI hype and that is what it is because there are other Shooters in the circuit like Rob Leatham, Jerry Miculek, Bruce Piatt or Doug Koenig who is the WInningest Shooter in NRA Shooting Competition History which is something that Taran Butler cannot say but since he is a California bases shooter and has Hollywood connection I guess they making out to be the Shooting Messiah which he is NOT! He does have an extensive number of out of court settlement with the young ladies that he uses as instructors in his school. Just keeping things REAL!

And a press check is just to see if the gun is loaded if the round wasn’t seated the slide wouldn’t lock forward all the way. That was my issue with the 1911 the slide would never lock forward
I actually have the airsoft version of the Combat Master 2011 and it looks and feels so damn real like the real steel version. I mean trigger feel, magazine, iron sights, etc. The airsoft version is quite on the pricey side though costing around $245-$290.
I wish I had bought the pistol last year, when it was $3899. Now it's almost 7 grand lmao.

How did u get that 22 round mag in canada ? Doesnt look pinned to 10 rounds.
Use a block inside the mag and pin it near the bottom. Keeps that rivet away from the gun to prevent damage.
It's a much cleaner pin than the usual cheap style
