I think the first spider woman should be called “Countess Spider” since she’s a regal gal :) She’s giving “I have a ball to go to so can we get this over with” vibes
i think it would be cool if she’s actually a peasant of france and she dresses as a aristocrat to help the abolishment of the monarchy / killing the wealthy- she would also make public statements (like using webs to create the phrase “let them eat webs” on a palace) but then the aristocrats start creating villains she has to fight

@@reagandanger2222 but if we go with Circe’s idea about her actually being a peasant the aristocrats would think there was a traitor in their rankings and she’d have more cover 🤔 I think it’d also help if she had a spider persona so she’d act like she was in the elite when in the costume (cocky, maybe stuck up) and like her normal self the rest of the time

The Halloween Spider-Man reminded me a lot of Spiders-Man, aka Spider-Man 11580. He’s made of spiders. He’s one of Marvel’s many joke Spider-Men.
He was just a radioactive vat (of spiders), before an average everyday guy fell into him

I've been wanting to make a video about my animatic process for a while now, so hopefully I'll find some time in the next few months to make it! Its a pretty simple workflow, so I think it would be pretty helpful for folks ✨
I'm usually not into costumes or doing excessive stuff for Halloween. But boy is the spider witch intriguing me to make it as a costume. I absolutely love all the designs but that one in particular would be amazing for Halloween.
For the Marie Antoinette Spiderwoman, maybe Versaille Widow would fit (✨alliterations✨) ! It's not really that different from the name you came up.
For Steampunk Spiderpunk, Spidergear would be cool I think, since gears are such a prominent iconography of Steampunk.
Tbh, the last three names you gave the other Sonas fit them perfectly !

100% my favorite
I got the idea for a spider 'man' based off the actual primate called a spider monkey. A spider monkey who ate a radioactive spider while cleaning one if it's troop members this causing it to grow 4 additional limbs(thus giving them technically 9 limbs w/ their prehensile tails) with the natural ability to create web fluid. You'd suspect that this monkey got rejected for being a freak, but it actually infact didn't due to how well it survived and therefore had lots of babies creating a sub-species deemed the arachna-monkey. That had similar features to the og monkey who caused this whole species to exes it, only having 4 eyes instead of 8 but the basics stayed pretty consistent. Do what you will with these monkeys, I hoped you enjoyed my crazy and creative rambling.
Moth spider to me makes enough sense because moths, at least larva are also farmed for silk, so genetic experiments to make spiders that are as easy to farm as silk worms or something, but still have the strength of some spider silks makes sense as something people would try in the experimental textile industry.
I love these designs.
I imagine Hex Web swings by using her many arms to spin a bunch of webs, and then uses the hooked end on her broom to swing on them. I imagine her even implementing some pole dance esc moves to hold on to the broom and leave her hands free to web up bad guys and just to add dope stylish moves while swinging.
I literally just finished my own spidersona and all of these designs put mine to shame 😂

Roccocon spiderwoman could totally be "Lady spinder". Like spider and spinning, as in a ball. Also, lady matches the spiderMAN or spiderWOMAN names.

10:34 when I think of rococo spider-woman my first thought goes to The Scarlet Pimpernel, but I love how this rococo spider-woman, with her color and flair, reminds me of a _Cleome hassleriana_ or a _Spider-flower._ and she honestly gives me awesome botanist vibes. the flower is native to South America, so My thoguht is that one was brought to France as a gift. I just saw this movie today ! It was amazing, almost even better than the first movie, I just can't handle how amazing these two movies are, it's amazing !!! The score, the characters, the story and emotional beats, the ANIMATION, HELLOOOOOO ???? I... I just cannot hande the perfection and absolute beauty of this movie.

I think Spidey Lantern and Rococo Widow are my favourites, simply based on the facts that their colours, shapes and themes are so fun and work very well. I don't know if you've seen Barbie and the Three Musketeers, but I kept thinking of their fight scene at the masked ball while you drew Rococo Widow. Good stuff
And of course, that animation at the beginning was wonderful to watch, 1000/10

Green Goblin, Goblin Queen, and Jack-O-Lantern ganged up on him. Jack stabbed him, and then thousands of spiders crawled out and ate him. The Goblins both ran for their lives

My faves are Hex Web and Spider Moth, they’re both so pretty 😍 This is just the inspiration I’ll need next month when I can set aside some time to make spidersonas for my ocs to embody as I had worried the ice/winter motif for spidersonas was done by so many ppl already but this has helped to think of resolutions to work around that even when the concept has been put out there and to do something unique with the concept.

I feel like with Hex Web, she could be an aspiring mage, like an acolyte to Dr Strange maybe (I'm really rusty on all the Dr Strange stuff), and then got bitten by a radioactive spider, so she can cast spells but is also a spider person! I also thing Yrsa (Pronounced Ee-sha, which is Slavic I'm pretty sure) would be an excessively witchy name for her

Great design work and the names aren't terrible to me , yet i enjoy puns very much!! Your Spider Lantern reminded me of a Spider man villain called the thousand. He was a villain whose body is composed of one-thousand spiders capable of devouring the innards of humans and using their leftover skin like a suit. He has Super strength and a Venomous bite. He can also adhere to surfaces. A very creepy, disgusting and formidable villain for sure.

I really like the Jack Parker design!! It has a similar concept to "Spiders Man" of Earth 11580 from the comics, who is a giant colony of spiders that believe that they are Peter Parker

For spider witch i think she could use her broom like a witchy version of the green gobling flyingboard, like, she could just fly around in her broom like a missil, and do the "trow a lazoo thingy at a poll while going high ssspeed, to turn a full 105° in a second" that happens a lot in movies

Though i must say, i found it funny that you interpreted the dotts on the Atlasmoths wings as spider eyes because its actually well known for the brigter places on the outer upper wings to look like snake heads.

I created a little backstory for Spidey lantern so this spider laid their eggs in the corpse of a witch (maybe uncle ben) so when they hatched they were magical and when aunt may left out a Jack-o'-lantern which they used to construct their body

Ough I love all these designs so much! the COLOURING is just as fantastic as ever! Though since you mentioned not being too happy with most of the spider's names (I still adore Rococo Widow for it's lovely camp nature) I think since the steampunk spider is based off of Spiderpunk which is literally just combining the word punk with spider I think "Steamspider" would suit him pretty well, quite on the nose but I think it has a nice ring to it
