Thahet was fast and fun. I appreciate the clips of the cars tearing around your wonderful circuit. You guys in 'the Mid West' (is the Toronto area in 'the Mid West'? -lol) seem to have overlooked the delights of 1:24 Revos most commonly going by the name of 'BRM'. Some of the newer ones - the Porsche 917K and the Ferrari 512M have really cool 'Revo' style chassis and a more powerful motor. These would be fantastic on your layout. The 'Group 2' mini cars are higher and slower and require more careful driving skills - the Daytona liveried pair would definitely make my 'top 5' - a whole new class in slot racing :)
@@twolinesslotcars Both the new chassis Porsche GT1 and the McLaren F1 GT1 from BRM, I believe, will also have the faster motor and configurations. Interestingly, the Porsche should have a longer wheel base and so it would be great to get an example of each as this should prove a great control for what difference this factor makes - particularly at 1:24. Available over the summer :)
Rookie question for you, Marty, because I always raced analogue...so if I want to race analogue on your Carrera Digital track do you physically have to take out the the Digital control master track piece? Or is there a way of just electrically disconnecting it and use a analog power supply...very interesting to know this because i will be buying Carrera Digital but love many of the scalextric/scx /fly/ninco etc cars that are available. So it boils down to how run the analog cars on a Digital track ..Harry
Harry, I have a video that describes the digital to analog switch box that I built. I am able to flip a few switches and turn my track from digital to analog. There are a few other ways to do it. One is a device called the Tek Slot box or the Axel Box.. they basically chip the lane instead of the car to run analog cars on digital track. Check out more of my videos.. I talk about this subject a lot.
