Hello Harry, top video, always such honest appraisals.Interesting cars the GT-Rs,they were banned from racing for being too good! Pity they didnt approach racing like us "sloters"and just enjoy the purity of wonderful cars.

The Opel cars seem to be the car of choice at my track with silicone pro-track wheels. I'm probably the only one with this skyline. I have the Castrol livery

We are planning to have a championship using the classic DTM series. They are good to drive, not too fast, perfect for races.
A small balance of performance is needed.
The Nissan git 2,5g on the motorpod, as you showed.
The c class amg got 2,5g under the roof and the calibra got 5g under the roof. That's it.
In case you gonna race these cars that might help. Cheers.

G'day mate , awesome review on the slot skyline , that car won Bathurst in 1993

That car with that livery won in 1991.
By the 1993 race they were banned.
V8 Holdens and Falcons only race in 1993. The Larry Perkins Commodore won in 1993.

It's amazing how the Skylines have blown up over the last year or so in the sloting, diecast, modeling communities. .

That really is a smooth car, I'm 100% with you on look of the wheels but you can only see them when it's not moving so it doesn't matter that much :)

nice runniing car, i have a question for you. My first car, in real life, was a '67 Cougar XR7. I want to get into scratch building and would like to know if anyone makes or did make that body in 1/32 scale? I would love to see it running around my track, Thanks in advance

Scalextric made a series of Cougars as part of their Trans Am cars. Probably 10 yrs ago. Scarce, but can still find some on the auction site. Not cheap.

@@johnsweet8508 Thanks for the info, that is one car that remains close to my heart. I will have to look online for one

@@SpareRoomSlotCars searching TH-cam for Scalextric Cougar shows several new releases of the car from 2 to 8 years ago.
So might be a bit easier to find than really old production.

@@johnd8892 Thanks John, I already purchased one and am currently using it to make a mold in order to do a scratch build of my first car
