android tablet power on usb only (no battery - for car)

jump the battery positive terminal on the motherboard with any 5V source you can find.This powers the tablet...also you must edit the ipod file (\system\bin\ipod - requires root) (ipod for Chinese devices - lpm file for others ) with the following code:

The idea is great, but it didn't work for me. The Samsung Note 4 didn't work without a battery. Please also teach the automatic boot of the phone. I could not find any article about how to turn on the ear automatically, that is, without pressing the power button.

5 volts not too much? Batteries are around 4.2v tops. Also I would think this modification shorts the tablet's charging circuit which may not matter but could cause problems in the long run.

Thankfully it's within tolerance.I have it for years in several tablets and smartphones.No harm done.You can always add a resistor or a diode in order to bring it down to 4V for the ease of mind 🙂

Καλησπερα, η σύνδεση που ακριβώς γίνεται? Για παραδειγμα σε ενα αλλο logic board το οποιο εχω δεν υπαρχει ιδιο σημειο για να γινει solder (δεν εννοω το + απο την μπαταρια.)

Search anything near the usb port that gives +5V. That should be OK

Okay, but I still don't get it sir. 1 red cable from positive (+) battery cable, connected to any 5v power source, the other red cable, from negative ( - ) charging port connected to what sir?

Only one red cable.There is no other red cable (the second red cable you see is the tablet's speaker cable)
