Hello, it was quite a few years ago when I booked that train but if memory serves it took just under 24h and I booked it about a week before! I booked online on the Turkish rail official website 🙂

We arrived at Tbilisi just now and are due to stay one month and then start for Kars(3 days)..Ankara(7days).. Istanbul(6days) and leaving for Incheon International Airport. I remember I went to the Ta’ Qali Crafts Village. Spent a relaxing couple of hours watching the glass blowing. And it was free.
