First off - 1/ Top credit to who's behind the camera - good job for not falling into the sea or walking over anyone 2/ Cars - there are almost as many cars on the Island as there are residents 3/ CVA - if you hire a car and drive into certain areas, you will be charged: not on the day but approx 2 months later on your credit card with an "administration fee" 4/ Sundays: A lot of food places are closed so eat well on Saturday 5/ Bells: Looks like you'll be up early..every day..especially Sunday.. 6/Buses: Sounds a good idea and cheap but you could wait an hour 7/ Smile and the world will smile back 8/ Oh heck, just enjoy Malta! Happy Travels

11:00 most grocery products are much cheaper in italian supermarkets.. and fruit and veg cheaper in Sicily than in Malta... on the other hand petrol/diesel/lpg is like 30% cheaper in Malta compared to Italy..
Nice video Alex, just a small correction: Non-EU citizens are called third-country nationals, not third-world nationals. By the way, this is in no way meant in a derogatory way. It is simply a linguistic usage in the immigration context. The meaning differs somewhat between the US and European usage, but in relation to EU countries such as Malta, it simply means that the person concerned is neither a citizen of Malta, nor of an EU country/of the European economic area where freedom of movement applies and therefore comes from a third country. Greetings from a German who calls Malta home.
Danke❤️ i guess i said third world nationals instead of TCN, i am TCN myself so it was a genuine mistake, thank you❤️ greetings from a Macedonian who calls Malta home as well

Alex Malta used to be with UK part of colony so their free to go to Uk because like I said before and I saw a lot of Brit’s tourists during the summer so yo don’t need to pay Visa if you Have a Maltese Passport and or your favorite dream holiday like UK
Alex your vlogs are interesting, my daughter lived in Madliena for 12 years so we’ve have been all over the island. My first visit was in 1989 and have been countless times since then. Mdina is so peaceful and the views from the wall are spectacular. A weekly bus pass is a good thing to buy. This year we will be staying on Gozo, a much slower pace of life 😎
Thank you (Ви благодарам) Alex, I went on holidays with my partner to Malta for 7 days last week (1st week of September) was amazing, we loved Malta we are coming back! Only one observation, I was heartbroken to see how tourists are careless with rubbish. Paradise Bay has such beautiful waters and fish, I was mesmorised! But tourists do not respect the land. I'm from Portugal- Algarve and we have such a high respect for our beach and we make sure tourists respect it. Is so sad to see so many cigarret buds, plastic everywhere.... Maybe you can Raise that issue on the media! Another topic you could mention in your channel is how dangerous can be to drive in certain roads! Thank you once again! ❤
I am visiting Malta in 3 days. Seeing your wonderful video sorted many questions I had. Amazing scenery too, now I know I can bring the summer clothes only. Thank you so much!
Love your videos Alex with regards to Malta being not so clean this depends on the area where one lives. Actually a couple of days ago I went round the island by car and I think it was quite clean especially in the south side. The north side of the islands gets a lot of tourists and it is probably because iit is a busy tourists area which might seem less cleanit than it should be. I believe the government has made fines for those who litter the place and it is bearing fruit.
Zurrieq and Qrendi are on top of my list for cleanest areas, Bugibba, Marsa and Hamrun at the bottom line :) yes, i noticed there was investment into cleaning :) the island is cleaner since the pandemic
i have been to Malta once in 2000 when i was 11 and i loved it and i plan on bringing my partner she has never been before from what i remember it is absolutely stunning.

No UK residents cannot live in Malta as UK is now out of the EU. Maximum stay is 90 days in every 180 day period. They can but with a work permit or investment programme only to get a residents ID card..
With 200k you can get an average apartment. For a house you might need to double that amount. It also depends where the property is located. You can buy an apartment for 600k if its seafront ecc or a house for 300k if its in a not in a beautiful area. The condition of the property also reflect the price.
