i think my immediate advice for future guides is that it would be very helpful to show a demonstration of the optimal combo on the actual character after the icon guide. its hard to visualize what we're supposed to be doing with just the guide, so the guide plus a literal demonstration would be nice (i understand that the game is not out yet so this is just any cbt2 footage of rover you already had and thus couldnt necessarily do this for this video) very helpful guide though. excited to follow you for most of my wuwa guides
Yes I will certainly do that for guides coming in the future, but without access to the game currently I can only go off CBT2 footage sadly :/ And I have quite some big channels to beat hence the first few guides will likely also not fully include that. Thanks for the comment and suggestion

So basically for the rotation you just gotta press right -> right -> up -> down -> triangle -> triangle -> left -> square -> cross -> cross -> triangle -> down -> down -> circle all the while paying attention to the enemies moves and dodge/parry their attacks. Got it. Easy Peasy.
@@RumiRHood I never got that sense. She handles situations well, and there was never a moment when "plot armour" saved her. Her main power is the fact she is immune to the Storm, and goes out to save arcanists and sometimes humans.
me personally, imma main rover till 1.1. my team will most likely be rover, yangyang and whoever i get in 50 pulls on the beginner banner. i will be saving my free 5 star selector until 1.1 where i will then use it after pulling for jinhsi or changli. btw for those wanting some guidance, id recommend that you use ur beginner banner before the 5 star selector so that u dont get dupes of a character. id be even better if you are willing to wait to use the selector only AFTER pulling on a time limited banner so that even if u lose 50/50, u can still get 2 new characters (hopefully) tldr: save ur 5 star selector until u pull ur first 5 star

I’m playing this game with rover as my main. Now I’m currently union level 30 and lvl 15 echo so now I’m farming gold echoes. Rover is pretty cool especially in specter class. Just for the sword sheath animation.
I love how versatile their kit is, on top of a very good design and huge potential with future elements/abilities. I hope WuWa manages to keep the MC relevant with all elements and not "weak version of the archon" (if you know...) or simply useless in some elements. I can see myself using them as main DPS starting out, moving to pretty decent sub with the added healing later on. Good stuff!
@harfi212 What tier list you looking at? Rover, especially at high eidolons, is the most easiest A tier character ever. Reslly good but obviously no S or S+ 5 star limited unit
Spectra rover's outro skill is a good setup utility for sanhua's intro-skill-liberation/heavy attack burst combo as rover's outro holds the target in place for 3 secs -- allowing sanhua to generate her icicles which she breaks with her heavy attack for burst damage.
bro, I have no idea what the combos mean yet - you said so many things that went over my head and it surprised me when it was actually only less than 7s onfield. Looks to me like this game has some really min max rotations, I love it. Honestly speaking because of this design and the grindy nature of farming for echoes... I feel like this game would see much less success than the obvious competitor, but I dunno as long as it caters to it's player base then I will be sure to play it for a long time.
I didn't really follow much about WuWa before playing because I didn't get into the betas and kind of wanted to keep the surprise. I'd seen some character designs and started playing mainly to pull for Yinlin, but after playing for a few minutes I found myself super down bad for female Rover. So glad they're pretty good in both (current) attributes, probably going to be using them for a long time.

That damn turtle in the end jamming is getting on my nerves. Of course i want it! I plan on going for Verina, hopefully right off the begginer convenes so i can go for Jianxin in the selector. It is French for the strong part of a fencing blade, and the most correct pronunciation is without a second syllable. And yes, the French pronunciation wouldn't normally include the "t" either, so we're meeting at a British middle-ground. Forgive the lecture--merely calling you on this because you were inaccurately calling him on it. :-)

the guide was not very clear to be honest, specially in the echo part. you didn’t mention suggestions of echoes for the echo skill, nor did you clearly list the main stats for the echoes (like you did for the substats). yes, you did put the picture of an excel sheet, but it wasn’t clear if that was a full build or even the proper build for rover. I also think it would be helpful if at the end you did a quick summary of the full build, specially by showing tables and/or illustrations instead of just speaking. it can help with following what you are saying

ATK% on the echoes is good for the 4th res chain (heals your whole team based on ATK). Good if you don't want to run a healer in your team
