It did start development long before Pikmin 4's reveal. I am not sure if it will include Pikmin 4 content, but there will surely be references to Pikmin 4 even if no Pikmin 4 creatures show up.
This project reminds me the beginning of Omori! How it started and ended of becoming! I love this so much and wish you all the best! I'm just scared that this project will blow up and the Nintendo Ninjas come and take it down

I hope that's Pikmin 2 louie, a compitant ally who is goofy, but can stand toe to toe with olimar when the goings get tough. I really hate what they did with him in pikmin 3 and 4. Although in 3 they at least show in the post game that he knows what he's doing, in 4 he's just an asshole for no reason.
maybe FP (likely flower power) could be changed to PP (pikmin power) or N (nectar), idk this does seem rpgmaker-y to me, and i know it’s possible to change that kind of stuff

I started by myself, but after about a month started getting a team together! Since we can't pay, the game is obviously all voluntary contributions. So we have never really had a stable team besides me and our lead animator and artist who joined a few months in. Everyone else seems to come and go with contributions for a few weeks before leaving.

Hmm... can't say I'm impressed with the gameplay. Seems to me like you won't have much variety in combat outside of "use pikmin". Do you get other captains with their own abilities? Like using the rocket fist or louie just final fantasy 9 quina eating enemies?
