    I’m so impressed. Installing the insulation took some serious Tetris skills.
    Savannah, I love your blue flame wizard…I mean welding…mask.
    You are both wizards because that cab is lux, as well as practical and comfortable.

    Great job both of you! Looks awesome. Now all you need is a really cool ball on the stick head. Maybe something that says Unimog!! Congratulations! The MogDig house came out great!!

    Great result! The 'After' driving sound is quite civilised now.

    Nice work! I'll bet ceramic window tint (even without tint) would help a ton with heat from the sun, too.

    The new air seat are great! As a professional driver for UPS I would suggest getting to know all of the adjustments of the seats. Particularly the oscillator lock and unlock. It will help with seat slap. Keep up the excellent work.

    I'll bet the sound difference is much more noticeable in person. Your camera may be doing auto gain on the sound just like it does auto focus so it may not be a true sound level comparison. It looks amazing! What a fun project.

      We noticed this too! Should’ve used an external mic not attached the camera but didn’t think of it until after. You can hear it’s more muted but the volume difference doesn’t really come through. What you can hear is how the volume of our voices change. We’re no longer yelling when the engine is on haha

    Hi you two, an very interesting and a little funny episode (for me), although it shows a lot. A high light for me was to see how the driver's cab transforms from spartan to cozy, with some measures. If I were to convert a truck, I would do it exactly as you did. It is much better insulated against temperature and noise. You want to enjoy your travels and not have to go to the ear doctor later because of hearing damage. It is also much less tiring when the noise level is reduced. The funny part for me is when you try to glue the felt on and your fingers almost stick to it. So my question is, do you still have all the fingers on your hands, 20 in total? (I'm joking). Great work, would love to get in there and have a go. Don't worry, I'm far away in Germany, so I couldn't do it. Continue to have fun and enjoy completing your dream. Best regards, Adi

    Nice job, I did also on my truck and difference was so big, now I can have a conversation with my wife with the windows closed, in summer it's a different history, one think I notice in this video is you guys have the same problem as me when you start the engine on cold days,(it suffer a lot) my solution and recommendation it's a engine heater, (I use webasto) because under snow it's very very hard to run it without the original alcohol inyector, enjoy your truck it's a nice machine

    WOW I noticed a huge difference in the sound from the 1st time when you started it and idled for a few !! Driving you can tell also that its much quieter going don the road. Its to bad you didnt get the air ride seats to fit and work but you got nicer more comfy seats still with that kick as logo!! Congrats guys you did an awesome job with the cab!! Not sure if you have seen any VanCity Van life videos but Chrome was using the same product in his van for noise reduction! It was pretty similar if it wasnt Car Builders!! Anyway Great choice to go with that product it really makes a huge difference!! Have a great day guys!! Extra scratches for the pups from me too!!

    Excellent build. I assume Drew had to wire for those charging outlets. And…how did the little guys take to the new bed arrangements?

    • @OurWayToRoam
      @OurWayToRoam  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes! He wired them into the 24v truck electrical system so they work while we're driving. Mateo has fully claimed the bed and Pablo rides on my lap haha. They both love it!

      Thanks Mark! He is doing well! He made a full recovery after the 8 weeks of cage rest and a few more weeks of taking it easy. He is now back to his old self. We are so beyond happy that he can walk! It was a little up in the air for a while as to whether he would walk again. We feel so grateful!
