Dati, life here in the UK is good, but with the cost of living crisis now, better start your life in the US or Australia.

I started my nursing career here in the US (not through an agency).
I can’t compare to anything. I can save, have my own house and car in a span of 1 year working as a nurse. Invested a property in our home country. It’s also a big help that me and my spouse are working together to meet our financial goal.
US or UK, whatever works dun ka.

I am a Filipino nurse manong. I will be arriving in UK on Tuesday. The main reason why I decided to pursue my UK application is because for 7 years of my nursing practice here in the Philippines, I feel that I am not yet financially capable to start my own family. I don't see better future in the Philippines. Sa tingin ko tatanda lang akong pagod at maliit ang ipon pag dito ako sa pinas nagsettle ng nursing career ko.

come to saudi arabia, 150 k sahod monthly, free housing with water electricity, except wifi, free gas stove😂. cheap foods , almost free fuel😂. golds everywhere. you can easily have a visit visa to several countries like EU, US, UK, etc. BUT you cannot be an immigrant and more patient than UK or US. So saan na pupunta ? lahat nmn may pros and cons. Mas maganda siguro if magtipid talga, mag ipon. Stop being so luxurious, huwag po pasosyal. 😅

Bro this is cap! I admit it, London is amazing and always will be, but only as a tourist destination spot! Living there is horrendous. Too much taxes, sooo crowded, discrimination and cost of living is through the roof! Can't even get your own car and house without selling a few kidneys. However, I salute to the filipinos that actually grinded their way to the top. I am happy here in canada and will never, in a million years, work/live in London. It's just too overrated. It's like Toronto or new york, it looks good in the pictures, but being there is actually a different experience. Yung feeling na, 'eto na yun?' If maganda pa yung living conditions and economy sa Pilipinas, i would've never left.. but still, i wouldn't choose London over it tbh. Just my 2 cents btw.

Sa mga dadating palang. UK is good naman pero keep in mind.

Have you lived in the United States that yours is better than ours. I'm working here for the money. I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist at one of the best Trauma hospital in New York making $70 an hour for 12 hrs/day, 3x a week. With 4 days of doing nothing, therefore I'm working per diem. Yes we have copays, $10, $20 which is nothing. I have health insurance and I am satisfied with it where I am notified when it's time for a doctor's visit. I think a chunk of your salary goes into your health insurance. An average Nurse has at least 3 pensions here offered by the institution. When they retire at least they will get $5k a month. Pwera pa ang SSS. So i'm here for the money. Been here for 30+ years.

-theres no pathway for direct permanent resident for nurses. You need to work atleast 5 years. To apply. Mahaba masyado
