A Phantom of the Opera video I saved a long time ago. I didn't make it, forgot where I found it. But its amazing, nonetheless. The song is mentioned at the end, but, yeah. "Dark Waltz" by Hayley Westenra.
I've just listened to Hayley Westenra for the first time in years and when this song played it instantly reminded me of this video. I'm so glad it's still here. I remember watching this 15 years ago when I was 15 y/o and obsessed with The Phantom of the Opera!
this video is amazing first of all... and I wish artists like Hayley Westenra could be..."recognized" more...the media focuses too much on famous pop stars that don't have nearly as much talent as people like Hayley do.
I thought that the song was familiar when I was watching "Dancing with the Stars" Max and Brandy dance to it. It is so haunting and both the dance and the video above capture that. What a pure voice.
I'm very thankful to the person who made this video, because 3 years ago, I searched for Dark Waltz song, and I found this. Then I downloaded Phantom movie, and since than it's my favorite story, movie, musical and the book, and I have found myself in it. Also this video became the official video for Dark Waltz song, cause it almost has 1 million views. Phantom is the best, nothing can beat it.
Its magnificent. The emotion, the sensation, such beauty, such power. And the images... it connect completely. I love this video! And I think I'm not the only one. :)

Sometimes there's no better, this is Hayley's song, she did it perfectly already, more training would make anyone only more technical, I don't know even if Hayley did this song again it would be of this angelic quality because now she is a bold confident singer, this childhood innocent version will always be the best.
